I tried but it looks kinda weird texture wise. I think it's cause the hair is mostly designed for humans. I do like the dark though cause it's contrasting with the rest of the fur and compliments her pigments.

You should match the hair color with her coat, at least the roots. Currently looks like she is wearing a wig.
