Kuvaus
A katana that uses the same animation set as the bat, with a few tweaks.

"What's so "tweaked" about this?"
  • Alternative, fancier deploy animation
  • Angles of the swing animations have been adjusted to match the swing rays and to ensure satisfaction when slicing through zombies
  • Appropriate melee/shove animation
  • Extra RNG animations where the character adjusts their grip after swinging for variety

Ohh my god I fucking did it. I wasn't compiling the source ones in the same folder. I'll get some screenshots and a thumbnail and post it here, if you wanna put it in the description of this like the flashlight ones you can.

Yeah Im copying the $texturegroup lines to the spurce .qc yeah, I think I'm just gonna set this as a lost cause. Even when I do it to a different weapon mod the hands get all messed up in the animations.

are you recompiling the decompiled model of my katana? the source files for that are in the .vpk
sorry maybe I wasn't clear enough, i meant copy the $texturegroup lines from the extended skin .qc, and paste it into the source .qc of my katana

decompile the extended skin katana model, open the .qc, look for the $texturegroup, copy it

then open the .qc from the source files of this, paste it below the $cdmaterial lines then compile it
