Introduction
Welcome to the UnOfficial Puppet Master: The Game perk guide!

In this guide, you'll find what kind of perks you can find in the game, what they do, and what to expect from them!

A few things before we start though, including the age old question: What is a perk?

Perks are modifiers that grant additional bonuses to the character they are applied to, available in the puppet trunk. To use them, you need to manually choose a character, then choose up to 3 perks that the character can use, and then go wild! Do note that you can only equip one specific perk for a single character at a time, even if you have multiples. (IE You can't have two legendary Strong arms, but you can have a legendary Strong arms and a unique Strong arms, along with another different legendary.)

That leads us to the second question; How do I get/scrap perks?

Simple! XPS points, gained by playing the game, can be used to craft perks, with all perks being roughly 350 XPS points. Once purchased, you will get one of four perk types, each varying in strength and scrap rewards;

  • Common: Most likley to receive of any perk, can be srcapped for 75 xps.
  • Rare: Slightly harder to come by, but give back 100 xps.
  • Unique: Harder to get, can sometimes give an additional boost. Gives back 120 xps.
  • Legendary: The most difficult to get, but has the most benefits of all perk ranks. Gives back a whopping 150 xps.

You'll notice that there are two additional buttons available when selecting perks: Scrap duplicates, and scrap commons. Scrap duplicates will only scrap any duplicates of the selected perk. (IE if a rare reinforced perk is selected and you have more than one, it will get rid of all other rare reinforced perks, but not any other.) Scrap common is what it says on the tin; it scraps all of your common perks. Both of these buttons also give back XPS.

In this guide, perks will be sorted by three categories:
  • General/universal: Perks that can be universally used by all characters of the faction.
  • Limited: Perks that can be used by only a few characters, usually two or three at the least.
  • Role specific: Can be only used by one select character, and doesn't really affect any other characters.
Additionally, each perk will be sorted like the above; Common, Rare, Unique, Legendary.

Now, keep in mind this is UNOFFICIAL. There are possibly many more perks out there that aren't listed here, though this list will be updated whenever possible. These perks may also be subject to change with updates, so keep that also in mind. With that out of the way, LETS GO!
