Introductory Information
This game is in early access!! All information, including that of guides, is subject to change! This is written as of Early Access Patch 2, which reworked aspects, added icons to keepsakes and other GUI/HUD elements, and rebalanced a ton of things. So far, the underworld has all of its areas made, though the alternate route only has two areas to it. More to come, of course.

For some quick info about me, I 100%'d the first Hades and loved it to bits! I'm beyond eager to see where this game goes. My fave god so far in 2 would be Aphrodite for her versatility or Hephaestus for his damage and defense. I use the staff Descura by default.

As of the builds, I have one beginning section with every build, one by one, and then a number of sections for each particular god -- in case you have a favorite. At the end is some notes about gods that didn't quite make the cut, for one reason or another.

You do not have to match the builds exact! The roguelike genre is defined by getting by with what you have in the moment, and this is no different.
In the all-builds section, I included screenshots of similar combos I got in runs after starting to write this guide. Like I said, don't have to match perfectly, just similar.
All Builds
Spawn Camping
Engagement Ring + Zeus Shocking Loss + Medea Suffering on Sight
Engagement Ring deals damage to every enemy that enters the encounter. Suffering on Sight does the same, but with a random amount of damage. Shocking Loss is the same, but infinite damage only a percentage of the time. Together these three perks will clear out a bunch of the encounter without you having to do anything beside place your cast.
The only bottleneck on this build is the alternate route for your runs. It's currently only two areas long, which doesn't give enough time to get the legendary Shocking Loss nor does it guarantee even the opportunity to get Suffering on Sight. The main route, however, doesn't allow access to Suffering on Sight anyway. The woes of early access.

The Sledgehammer
Bridal Glow / Demeter Rare Crop + Hephaestus Volcanic Strike + Poms of Power + Hephaestus Furnace Blast + Hestia & Hephaestus Chain Reaction
This is my own personal favorite build purely for its efficiency. The crux of it is Volcanic Strike, which you need to get as early as possible. The higher the rarity, the better. The more poms you pile on top of it, the better. Furnace Blast helps a lot with enemies that are far away, crowds of enemies, or anything that's hard to hit. In particular, it was the build that got me through my first fight with the final boss. The DPS is simply uncontested.

Thunderstorm
Zeus Spirit Surge + Hera Born Gain + Zeus Static Shock + Zeus Air Quality
Born Gain gives an easy way to prime tons of mana fast, and that's what you want! Between Spirit Surge and Static Shock, you're gonna be hitting enemies with TONS of lightning bolts, whether you're in their face or not. Air Quality helps this massively by buffing the damage of every individual bolt.

Lightshow
Demeter Local Climate + Apollo & Zeus Glorious Disaster
The duo boon between Apollo and Zeus causes your cast to strike the opponent with lightning bolts repeatedly, and endlessly. The damage is off the charts, and using Local Climate to keep that deadly AoE on yourself is a surefire way to make a nuke. It may require a few damage buffs here or there, maybe Air Quality in particular, or a Hermes buff.

Judgement
Demeter Gale Force + Apollo Solar Ring
Read in either Minos Prime's voice, or A.B.A's. Gale Force does not take the place of your Ring boon, despite having almost the same functionality as Demeter's Ring boon. Since it freezes enemies, it pairs well with any boons that damages the enemies all the while. It would work with any other Ring boon, effectively, but I list it with Apollo since I find it to be the most effective. Clears out any enemies I don't clear out myself, and is great for crowd control.

Doubling Down
Apollo Exceptional Talent + Demeter Weed Killer + Zeus Heaven Strike
Apollo's Exceptional Talent allows attacks to strike twice. Because the first attack, or omega attack, would apply blitz, the second one would immediately prock it, dealing massive damage in the span of a second or two. Demeter's Weed Killer just speeds this up by buffing the omega attack.
If you use Descura as your default weapon, like I do, then I recommend using the Aspect of Momus, as the triple omega attacks help a ton.

Rushdown
Hephaestus Mint Condition + Apollo Perfect Image + Demeter Winter Coat + Poseidon Hydraulic Might
Winter Coat grants one free tanked hit. Mint Condition guarantees ten or so seconds of free tanked hits. Hydraulic Might and Perfect Image massively buff your attack during those opening ten seconds of an encounter. Make it count! This build will let you clear house as long as you're fast, though it doesn't perform as well against most bosses unless you have another good DPS combo going.

Knight's Sandwich
Hephaestus Trusty Shield + Hephaestus Heavy Metal + Arachne's Dresses + Arachne's Silk Scarf
Armor upon Armor upon Armor. Beefcake central. Trusty Shield guarantees at least 20 armor per encounter. Heavy Metal grants another 50 or so. Arachne grants a good amount of armor, but if you're heading the opposite direction to her, then Icarus has a boon that should match well enough. Arachne's Silk Scarf keepsake grants bonus armor per every room you keep your armor, though, so Trusty Shield gives you permanent +4 armor per room with that.

Zeus
Doubling Down
Zeus Heaven Strike + Demeter Weed Killer + Apollo Exceptional Talent
Apollo's Exceptional Talent allows attacks to strike twice. Because the first attack, or omega attack, would apply blitz, the second one would immediately prock it, dealing massive damage in the span of a second or two. Demeter's Weed Killer just speeds this up by buffing the omega attack.

Miscellaneous
Selene
None of her moons actively stack with other boons unless you get the good RNG and build her enough to just barely apply your attack/special boon to it, which does not add a lot.
Aphrodite
Great overall boons, but not much potential for crazy combos with other gods.
Hestia & Poseidon
Great duo boons, and a good patient playstyle that plays great with Poseidon/Zeus/Hestia/Aphrodite, generally speaking.
Hermes
General buffs, nothing super unique to combo with.
