Intro
This guide was originally made for 1.25, but is being updated for 1.5.

Let me know if you have any other issues, and I'll see if I (or others) can find a solution.
If you have any fixes of your own, let me know and I'll put it in the guide.
Mind Dungeon is Spinning (YIIK I.V)
From user creatadelic (say thank you!):
Instructions:
1. Close YIIK. Also turn off ds4win or any other types of programs like that if you're using them.
2. Ensure Steam Input is enabled in your Steam settings and YIIK's Steam settings:
- Steam Settings > Controller > PlayStation Controller Support = Enabled
- Right click on YIIK in your Steam library > Properties > Controller > PlayStation = Enabled
3. Start YIIK and choose "Xbox One Wireless Controller" when you first open the game.

Everything should work properly after this, though the game will show Xbox button prompts.
I need to reset my controls! (Windows)
YIIK 1.25 uses the default unity launcher, and while it may have a section dedicated to changing your controllers it's pretty janky and can mess things up. Here's how to reset it back to the default settings.

Open up "Registry Editor." Go to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\AckkStudios\YIIK: A Postmodern RPG". Inside you'll find a YIIK folder, delete it and all the launcher settings will reset... including the controls!
RT, LT isn't working... or my controller isn't detected at all!
Not being able to use RT and LT is especially problematic as this prevents you from using the Speed-up and Slow-down (Time Energy) functions in battle... both are incredibly important to enjoying the game!

Steam input is normally the culprit behind this. In your Steam Library, right click on YIIK and hit properties. Go to "Controller" and select "Disable Steam Input." This should fix it up!
Michael's Beatdown isn't working?!
This is a problem if you are using the Dualshock control scheme in-game. Due to a bug, X and O are reversed. Whenever the minigame asks for X, try hitting O instead and vice versa. You can also switch to the Xbox control scheme and this issue will be fixed, but the onscreen inputs will be different obviously.
