Throughout this guide your best friend will be the recolors for each element you'll add. Changing the color slightly will increase the level of detail.

1.Instead of a 1x1 cobblestone path try adding 2 or 3 rows instead, and leave some green patches on the way, so it will look like it's a town road. If you want a cleaner, modern look don't add those patches.
2. Replace some of the pastel cobblestone with pastel path, these details are so much fun and amazing to look at instead of a simple, boring path.
3. Add lights, but not symmetrically, unless you want it to look urban.
4. Add a bench or two so your adorable townsfolk can rest.
5. After all that hard work you can add a bit of a different color to the grass by using a recolor over the basic block. Do this very carefully as adding too many blocks will lead to the switch between those two colors looking odd.
6. Finally, add some rocks or a bush to make it cozy!

Let's try making a cozy, dreamy forest now.

1. Instead of just adding trees or bushes, start by changing the color of the grass, as shown here.
2. Add a few blocks of different colors on the original grass, so the whole thing will blend very nicely. This is very important not to make it look basic.
3. Now the fun part: add recolored trees along with original trees, spread them unevenly,mostly on the darker spots you've placed before.
4. Add bushes and rocks for extra detail.

You think there wouldn't be much to do at a beach? Check this out:

1. Do the same thing I taught ya; add random blocks of sand on the grass so it all blends together.
2. Now add some brown sand so the beach has a lot more detail, and greener grass on the other side.
3. Add details such as random shells, maybe an awesome bonfire and torches!
