Setting Launch Options
  1. Within Steam, visit your Library tab.
  2. Right click on God of War: Ragnarok in your library.
  3. In the right-click context menu, select "Properties".
  4. In the "General" section, at the bottom, you will see an input field for launch options. Please insert the following into that input field:
    SteamDeck=1 %command%
  5. Start the game.
Other Notes
  • After launch, your browser will open up. You will need to link a PlayStation Network account to your Steam account to get past the splash screen of the game. Log into PSN, then close the browser once finished and let the game load.
  • You may want to wait for shader compilation to finish before starting to play. The progress is in the bottom right corner of the main menu.
  • For people playing with the compatibility tab: do NOT switch your Proton version too frequently, if at all, as you may get locked out of the game thanks to copy-protection believing you're installing it on too many PCs.
