Lets say we want to turn an armor/helmet/ pack from basic to superior. I start with gear because is a bit more easy than guns, since each piece have an universal Quality Tierd ID that work with all the items inside each category ( only exception is the Pirate Corsair/Charger armor/helmet, that had its own separated ID)

Okay, we proced as follow: First drop the piece you want to upgrade. Then open console, and click on it. You will obtain its RefID worded like this: ARMO FFXXXXXX (The X are a placeholder, since the numbers will be random each time you click)

Now we apply the Quality Tiers ID

For Armor wil be 11E2BC (Calibrated), 11E2BA (Refined), 11E2B9 ( Advanced) and 3AF7D ( Superior). For Helmets is 11E2B6 Calibrated, 11E2B7 Refined, 11E2B8 Advanced and 3AF80 Superior. For packs is 1CAE34 Calibrated, 1CAE35 Refined, 1CAE36 Advanced and 3AF7F Superior.

Knowng this we start making our armor calibrated, typing "FFXXXXX.amod 11E2BC.

This make your armor calibrated. Check it and make sure its name have the Calibrated prefix. Make sure you dont unclick inside the console the item, so you dont lose its RefID

We continue doing the same with the Refined ID: FFXXXXX.amod 11E2BA. Now is Refined, check again to be sure.

We do the same with Advanced: FFXXXX.amod 11E2B9. Check it.

Finally we apply the superior ID. FFXXXX.amod 3AF7D.

This way our armor is now Superior with the correct stats, as if you find it in the wild or in a shop.

Some could ask me. Why do all this, if we can apply the superior ID from the start?

You can, indeed do this, but, you will find that the upgraded gear will have missmatched and lowered stats in comparasion. That is because each Tier is accumulative and not exclusive. The Superior Armor rating is made by mixing each Quality tier armor rating increase togeter.

For weapons the idea is the same, but each weapon has its own unique Quality IDs. They dont share an universal Quality ID like gear.

There is a google drive here on reddit with all the weapons ID. You can find them quite easily, as they are worded as Quality Tier 02/03/04 ( Calubrated,Refined,Advanced).

Check the ID, drop the gun, click on them, get their RefID and do the same as above: RefID.amod WeaponQuality ID. Weapos only go to advance.
