Intro
Mass Effect 3 is an amazing game, one of the best out there and a fantastic conclusion to the Mass Effect trilogy. Since I noticed there isn’t a Steam guide for Mass Effect 3 achievements, I decided to create one myself. You can also check out my review to see why I love this game so much.

I have 125 hours in the game on my EA App version. It took me that long to complete it because I truly enjoyed myself and took my time. While the game can be fully "hunted" much faster, it's the kind of masterpiece you want to savor for as long as possible.
Roadmap
First of all, FYI, if you previously owned the game on EA App before purchasing it on Steam, your achievements from EA App will automatically unlock when you launch the game on Steam for the first time. (you must have the accounts connected/linked)

I suggest you first enjoy the game on Normal or Narrative difficulty, take your time. Explore, complete everything, and experience the full story. Once you're done, come back here to check out the achievements. See what you can still unlock in your current playthrough, and then go for the remaining achievements in your second playthrough on the hardest difficulty: Insanity. I always recommend people first enjoy the game without any guide, beat it, and only afterwards come back to it to complete what they missed or still need to do.

But you can also approach it with the guide next to you from the start. First, play on Normal or Narrative difficulty, complete all achievements you can complete in the first playthrough, and get them out of the way. Then, start a second playthrough on Insanity with only the Insanity- and second playthrough-specific achievements left.

In the end, the choice is yours.

Main Game Achievements Part I
Driven
Return to active duty.
You'll unlock this achievement very early in the game, right after leaving Earth. This section primarily serves as the game's main tutorial, with no special requirements or missable objectives.

Bringer of War
Chase down an assassin.
You'll unlock this achievement upon completing the mission on Mars. This mission begins automatically after leaving Earth, right after earning the Driven achievement.

Mobilizer
Bring a veteran officer aboard.
You'll unlock this achievement after completing the mission on Palaven and recruiting a returning companion from the previous games, assuming they survived in Mass Effect 2.

*This is a great opportunity to unlock the Eye of the Hurricane achievement. Near the end of the mission, you'll be stationed on a turret to fend off waves of Husks charging at a wall. Eventually, a Brute will knock you down, forcing you into a one-on-one fight. As long as you stay alert, the Brute shouldn't pose too much of a challenge.

World Shaker
Destroy an Atlas dropped from orbit.
You unlock this achievement by taking down an Atlas, a heavily armored mech with a distinctive white exterior and an orange-glass cockpit protecting its pilot. You'll encounter plenty of them throughout the story, giving you multiple opportunities to earn this achievement.

*To take one down, start by depleting its shields using gunfire, heavy attacks, or biotic powers. Once the shields are down, you'll need to break through its armor. However, you can speed up the process by targeting the pilot’s window, shattering it not only weakens the mech but also gives you the chance to hijack it, which will unlock the Hijacker achievement.

Pathfinder
Explore a lost city.
You'll unlock this achievement upon completing the Priority: Tuchanka mission.

*This is a priority mission, so make sure to complete any remaining side missions before starting it. The Tunnel Rat achievement will become missable if you begin this mission without earning it first.

Party Crasher
Sabotage a dreadnought.
You'll unlock this achievement upon completing the Priority: Geth Dreadnought mission.

Hard Target
Call down an orbital strike.
You'll unlock this achievement upon completing the Priority: Rannoch mission.

*This is a priority mission, so be sure to finish any outstanding side missions before starting it. The Saboteur achievement will become missable if you begin this mission without unlocking it first.

Arbiter
Win a political stand-off.
You unlock this achievement upon completing Priority: Citadel II.

Last Witness
Extract ancient technology.
You'll unlock this achievement upon completing the Priority: Thessia mission.

*This is a priority mission, so make sure to complete any remaining side missions before starting it. The Fact Finder achievement will become missable if you begin this mission without unlocking it first.

Executioner
Defeat an old adversary.
You'll unlock this achievement upon completing the Priority: Cerberus Headquarters mission.

*This mission marks the point of no return, so make sure to complete all remaining quests, including any DLC content, before proceeding.

Well Connected
Send a warning across the galaxy.
You'll unlock this achievement upon completing the Priority: Horizon mission.

Patriot
Make the final assault.
You'll unlock this achievement upon completing the Priority: Earth mission.

*Since this mission follows immediately after Priority: Cerberus Headquarters, it also serves as a point of no return, so be sure to finish any remaining content beforehand.

Legend
Mission accomplished.
You'll unlock this achievement after making your final decision at the end of the game.

Giant Killer
Defeat a harvester.
Harvesters are massive, dragon-like enemies that appear as mini-bosses in multiple missions. Defeating a Harvester will unlock this achievement.

Enlisted
Start a character in multiplayer or customize a character in single-player.
You can unlock this achievement by either creating a multiplayer character or customizing your Shepard at the start of the single-player campaign.
Main Game Achievements Part II
Tunnel Rat
Survive the swarm.
You'll unlock this achievement by completing Attican Traverse: Krogan Team.

*This achievement is missable if you skip this mission and proceed directly to Priority: Tuchanka.

Saboteur
Disable a group of fighter squadrons.
You'll unlock this achievement upon completing the Rannoch: Geth Fighter Squadrons mission.

*This achievement is missable if you skip this mission and proceed directly to Priority: Rannoch.

Fact Finder
Discover an enemy's monstrous origin.
You'll unlock this achievement by completing Kallini: Ardat-Yakshi Monastery.

*This achievement is missable if you skip this mission and proceed directly to Priority: Thessia.

Liberator
Stop a Cerberus kidnapping.
You'll unlock this achievement upon completing the Grissom Academy: Emergency Evacuation mission.

*This achievement is missable if you skip this mission and proceed directly to Priority: Citadel II.

Problem Solver
Evacuate a scientific facility.
You'll unlock this achievement upon completing the Arrae: Ex-Cerberus Scientists mission.

Shopaholic
Visit a store in the single-player campaign.
You'll unlock this achievement simply by visiting a store, either on the Citadel or aboard the Normandy.

Master and Commander
Deliver most of the Galaxy at War assets to the final conflict.
To unlock this achievement, you must raise your Effective Military Strength (EMS) to 4,000+ before launching the invasion on Cerberus HQ toward the end of the game. You can check your EMS in the War Room aboard the Normandy.

To reach 4,000+ EMS, you’ll need to complete every side mission, make key decisions for optimal outcomes, such as curing the Genophage, forming a Geth-Quarian alliance, and ensuring any surviving squadmates from previous games are still alive.

If you have DLCs, they will provide additional War Assets, making it easier to boost your EMS without relying on multiplayer. However, this still means completing all the fetch quests on the Citadel.

Even if you complete all missions and DLC, your EMS may still fall short. To compensate, you'll need to increase your Galactic Readiness, ideally to 100%. Achieving 100% Galactic Readiness in all systems is also necessary for the Defender achievement. Check that achievement's guide for an easy method to max out your readiness with minimal effort.

Lost and Found
Dispatch 10 probes to retrieve people or resources in Reaper territory.
After unlocking the Mobilizer achievement for completing the mission on Palaven, you'll gain access to galaxy exploration, allowing you to scan planets for resources or survivors. If a planet contains something of interest, you can launch a probe to collect it. This must be done on planets located within Reaper-controlled systems.

Long Service Medal
Complete Mass Effect 3 twice, or once with a Mass Effect 2 import.
You can unlock this achievement during your first playthrough if you import a save from Mass Effect 2. However, if you start without an imported save, you'll need to complete the game a second time to earn it. If a second playthrough is necessary, it's recommended to play on Insanity Difficulty to work toward the Insanity-related achievements at the same time.

Insanity
Finish the game on Insanity without changing difficulty after leaving Earth.
To unlock this achievement, you must complete all main missions on Insanity Difficulty. Side missions are not required for this achievement. Make sure to not change the difficulty after leaving earth.

*When reaching the final choice at the end of the game, do not select the Refusal ending (choosing to shoot or reject the Catalyst’s options). This will not count as completing the game and will also prevent you from unlocking the Unwavering achievement. If you accidentally trigger the Refusal ending, reload a save and choose a different option to ensure you receive credit for finishing the game.

A Personal Touch
Modify a weapon.
There are multiple weapon modifications available throughout the game, which can be found or purchased. Once you acquire a mod, you can apply it to a weapon at a weapon bench, either aboard the Normandy or at a bench found during a mission. To unlock this achievement, simply equip any weapon mod, and it will be yours.

Paramour
Establish or rekindle a romantic relationship.
To unlock this achievement, you must either continue a romance from a previous game or ensure that your Mass Effect 2 love interest survived the Suicide Mission.

If you don't meet these conditions, you still have several romance options in Mass Effect 3:

Male Shepard:
  • Liara T'Soni
  • Ashley Williams (If she survived Mass Effect 1 or was chosen in the interactive comic)
  • Kaiden Alenko (If he survived Mass Effect 1 or was chosen in the interactive comic)
  • Steve Cortez
  • Diana Allers

Female Shepard:
  • Liara T'Soni
  • Kaiden Alenko (If he survived Mass Effect 1 or was chosen in the interactive comic)
  • Diana Allers
  • Samantha Traynor

Combined Arms
Perform any combination of 50 biotic combos or tech bursts.
To unlock this achievement, you must combine two abilities on a single enemy, it doesn’t have to result in a kill.

You can even have Liara use Stasis or Singularity, then hit the affected enemy with another power. The key is to experiment with different power combos to trigger the effect.

*This achievement can also be earned in Multiplayer mode.

Focused
Evolve any of your powers to rank 6.
To unlock this achievement, you must upgrade any of your powers to Rank 6. As Shepard levels up, you'll earn skill points, which can be used to evolve powers before starting missions.

Once you fully upgrade a power to Rank 6, the achievement will unlock. You should be able to achieve this around midway through the game.

Recruit
Kill 250 enemies.
Refer to the Veteran achievement for more details.

Soldier
Kill 1,000 enemies.
Refer to the Veteran achievement for more details.
Main Game Achievements Part III
Veteran
Kill 5,000 enemies.
To unlock this achievement, you must kill 5,000 enemies. This is a significant number, and you likely won’t reach it even after two full playthroughs, making it a bit of a grind.

Here are three ways to work toward it:
  • Multiple playthroughs – The main campaign, even with all side missions, contains fewer than 1,000 enemies, so you'll need several playthroughs to reach the total.
  • Co-op mode – Enemy kills in multiplayer count toward this achievement, making it a viable option.
  • The Citadel DLC (Arena Mode) – This is the fastest method. You can customize matches to make enemies weaker and yourself stronger, significantly speeding up the grind.

Bruiser
Kill 100 enemies with melee attacks.
This achievement isn't as difficult as it sounds, especially on lower difficulties, where you have plenty of opportunities to get melee kills.

A great way to farm melee kills is, again, through the Citadel DLC’s Arena Mode, where you can customize fights with easier enemies, making this method one of the most efficient ways to unlock the achievement.

Untouchable
Escape a Reaper in the galaxy map.
In certain areas of the galaxy map, using the scanner will alert nearby Reapers to your presence. A detection meter in the lower-left corner of the screen will indicate how close you are to being discovered.

To unlock this achievement, completely fill the meter, triggering a Reaper attack. At first, they move slowly, but after a few seconds, they accelerate. If they catch you, it's game over. To escape, leave the system or use a Mass Relay to jump to another sector, and the achievement will popup.

Defender
Attain the highest level of readiness in each theater of war.

*This is the only achievement that requires multiplayer no matter what.

To unlock it, you must raise the Galaxy Readiness of every region on the main menu’s galaxy map to 100%. You'll likely work toward this while aiming for the Master and Commander achievement as well.

I'm not sure what methods are currently available, as the official Galaxy at War page appears to be down, and the Mass Effect Infiltrator iOS/Android game is no longer supported. That likely means the only remaining option is playing Multiplayer matches to increase Galaxy Readiness.

  • Completing a Bronze match grants 7% readiness in the system you played in.
  • Dying after Wave 1 still provides 3% readiness.
  • Silver & Gold matches offer more points but are significantly harder and require a well-coordinated team.

Once all systems reach 100% readiness, the achievement will unlock.

Overload Specialist
Overload the shields of 100 enemies.
To unlock this achievement, Shepard must use the Overload ability on enemies. This power is available to the Engineer and Sentinel classes.

You can also earn this in Multiplayer if you're playing as a character with Overload.

*Only Shepard’s Overload usage counts toward this achievement, squadmates using Overload will not contribute to the total.

Sky High
Lift 100 enemies off the ground with powers.
To unlock this achievement, you must use a power to knock enemies off their feet. Several abilities can achieve this, including:

  • Lift (Adept class)
  • Lift Grenade
  • Throw (Sentinel class)
  • Concussive Shot (Soldier class, which also seems to count)

*Only Shepard’s abilities count toward this achievement, squadmates using these powers will not contribute to the total.

Pyromaniac
Set 100 enemies on fire with powers.
To unlock this achievement, you must set enemies on fire using specific abilities or ammo types. The following options will count:

  • Inferno Power
  • Inferno Ammo (Soldier class)
  • Inferno Grenade (Sentinel & Infiltrator classes)
  • Carnage (Sentinel class)
  • Incinerate (Infiltrator class)

*Only Shepard’s abilities count, squadmates using these powers will not contribute to the total.

Eye of the Hurricane
Kill a brute while it's charging you.
You should be able to unlock this achievement during your first encounter with a Brute, as they always charge at you.

If you're unsure about getting the timing right, lower the Brute’s health first, then wait for it to charge before firing at the right moment to finish it off.

Mail Slot
Kill 10 guardians with headshots from the front while their shields are raised.
Guardians are Cerberus soldiers who carry large shields to block incoming fire. To unlock this achievement, you must shoot through the small opening in their shield while they are advancing toward you.

Using a sniper rifle makes this easier, but it’s also possible with other weapons if you aim carefully.

*You can also work toward this achievement in multiplayer.

Hijacker
Hijack an Atlas mech.
The easiest way to unlock this achievement is during the Grissom Academy: Student Evacuation mission. Near the end, you'll come across an unoccupied mech simply walk up to it and press the button prompted, to enter.

If you want to earn this the intended way, you'll need to shoot out the orange-glass cockpit of a piloted mech. Once the glass is destroyed, quickly run up to it and hijack it.

Tour of Duty
Finish all multiplayer maps or all N7 missions in single-player.
The easiest way to unlock this achievement is by completing all six N7 missions in the single-player campaign:

  • N7: Cerberus Labs
  • N7: Cerberus Attack
  • N7: Cerberus Abductions
  • N7: Cerberus Fighter Base
  • N7: Fuel Reactors
  • N7: Communication Hub

Each mission becomes available at different points in the game and will be marked on the Galaxy Map. Simply complete all six to earn the achievement.

If you prefer to unlock it via Multiplayer, you'll need to win/complete matches on all of the following maps:

  • Firebase Dagger
  • Firebase Ghost
  • Firebase Giant
  • Firebase Glacier
  • Firebase Reactor
  • Firebase White
Main Game Achievements Part IV
Always Prepared
Obtain two non-customizable suits of armor.
To unlock this achievement, you must purchase two full sets of armor from the shops. The available sets and their locations are:

Blood Dragon Armor – Kanala Exports, Presidium Commons (Citadel) – 50,000 Credits
Cerberus Armor – Elkoss Combine Arsenal Supplies, Presidium Commons (Citadel) – 50,000 Credits
Collector Armor – Nos Astra Sporting Goods, Presidium Commons (Citadel) – 50,000 Credits
Inferno Armor – Kassa Fabrication, Presidium Commons (Citadel) – 50,000 Credits
Terminus Armor – Batarian State Arms, Docks: Holding Area (Citadel) – 50,000 Credits

*You can also buy these armors on the Normandy, but they will cost 10% more than their Citadel price.

To earn the achievement, you only need to purchase two full sets.

Tourist
Complete one multiplayer match or two N7 missions.
Refer to the Tour of Duty achievement for more details.

Explorer
Complete three multiplayer matches or five N7 missions.
Refer to the Tour of Duty achievement for more details.

Gunsmith
Upgrade any weapon to level 10.
This achievement requires a second playthrough, as you can only upgrade a weapon to level 5 during your first run. To make the process easier, it's recommended to upgrade a weapon to level 5 in your initial playthrough and then continue upgrading it to level 10 in your second playthrough.

On your second run, import your Mass Effect 3 save file, then upgrade any weapon at the terminal in the Normandy's shuttle bay. Keep in mind that each upgrade increases in cost, but credits shouldn’t be an issue if you complete main and side missions, as they provide a substantial amount.

Almost There
Reach level 15 in multiplayer or level 50 in single-player.
Refer to the Peak Condition achievement for more details on leveling up.

Peak Condition
Reach level 20 in multiplayer or level 60 in single-player.
You can unlock this achievement in a single playthrough if you import a level 30 character from Mass Effect 2. Otherwise, you’ll need to complete two playthroughs in single-player to reach the required level.

If you choose to earn this through Multiplayer, you'll need a total of 2.5 million XP to reach level 20. While this may sound like a grind, it largely depends on how well you and your team perform during matches:

  • Winning matches grants significantly more XP.
  • Losing results in less XP, but progress is still made.

Battle Scarred
Promote a multiplayer character to the Galaxy at War or import an ME3 character.
If you choose to unlock this achievement in single-player, you’ll need to complete the game using a Mass Effect 3 character. Then, when starting a new game, import that same character to continue leveling up.

Since you’ll already need to do at least part of another playthrough for the Gunsmith and Peak Condition achievements, this process aligns well with other completion goals. If you haven’t completed Insanity difficulty in your first run, you’ll need to do a full playthrough for the Insanity achievement.

If you prefer to earn this in Multiplayer, you’ll need to level a character to 20. Once you reach level 20, you’ll be prompted to send your character to the Galaxy at War, which will count toward the achievement.

Unwavering
Finish all multiplayer maps on Gold or all single-player missions on Insanity.
If you choose to unlock this achievement through single-player, refer to the Insanity achievement for more details.

If you opt for Multiplayer, you’ll need to complete all maps on Gold difficulty, which is essentially the Insanity equivalent in multiplayer. A high-level character is required, as enemies are extremely tough. Even with a strong squad, surviving the first wave can be difficult, so be prepared for a challenge.
DLC Achievements Part I
As we all know, Steam does not separate main game achievements from DLC achievements. The good news is that, nowadays, all DLCs are included in the game by default, so no extra purchases are needed. Hooray!

If you're playing on a lower difficulty during your first playthrough and are following this guide, I highly recommend tackling the DLC achievements now.
In your second playthrough on Insanity difficulty, the challenge will be significantly higher, making DLC missions much tougher to complete. Taking care of them early will save you a lot of frustration later.

From Ashes
The From Ashes DLC becomes available early in the game, shortly after completing the mission Priority: Mars. Once you finish that mission and gain access to the Galaxy Map, you’ll receive an email from Admiral Hackett about Cerberus activity on Eden Prime. This will trigger the Eden Prime: Prothean Artifact mission, which is the main content of the DLC.

Freedom Fighter
Find all required intel to help Eden Prime's colonists.
To unlock this achievement, you must find and interact with three specific terminals during your mission on Eden Prime.

Terminal Locations:
  1. First Terminal – Building 6
    • Enter the first building you come across.
    • Head to the back of the room, slightly left.
    • Look for two blue monitors in the corner.
    • The terminal is on a workstation with red highlights, you’ll spot it before exiting the building.

  2. Second Terminal – Building 5
    • After dealing with Cerberus troops, enter Building 5 on your left.
    • Go to the back of the room and turn right.
    • Before exiting to Building 2, find the terminal on the left-hand side.

  3. Third Terminal – Building 9
    • Enter Building 9 and turn right.
    • You’ll spot Cerberus troops outside, ignore them for now.
    • At the end of the building, look for a door with a green button.
    • Turn left, and the terminal will be in the middle of the room.
    • Now, feel free to take out the Cerberus forces!
Once you've interacted with all three terminals, the achievement will unlock.

Prothean Expert
Learn more about the Prothean Empire.
To unlock this achievement, simply complete the mission Priority: Eden Prime.

Leviathan
As Commander Shepard, you’ll receive an email from Admiral Hackett, suggesting a meeting with Dr. Bryson on the Citadel.

You can access the Leviathan DLC as soon as you complete Priority: Palaven. However, you must complete it before starting Priority: Cerberus Headquarters, as progressing past that mission will lock you out of the DLC for your current playthrough.

To start the Leviathan DLC, check your email from Admiral Hackett and visit Dr. Bryson’s lab on the Citadel.

No Stone Unturned
Investigate a sinister conspiracy.
This achievement is story-related and will unlock automatically as you progress through the DLC.

Family Matters
Rescue a civilian from Reaper forces.
This achievement is story-related and will unlock automatically as you progress through the DLC.

Under Pressure
Uncover an ancient secret.
This achievement is story-related and will unlock automatically as you progress through the DLC.

Conspiracy Theorist
Use clues to pinpoint the exact location of an objective.
You can unlock this achievement during the Leviathan DLC, specifically after meeting Dr. Bryson on the Citadel. Once you investigate his lab, you'll be tasked with tracking down Dr. Garneau. This is when you need to analyze the clues to pinpoint his location.

To avoid missing it, make sure to complete this step before leaving the lab, as it is required to progress the Leviathan storyline.

To unlock this achievement, you need to pinpoint the exact location of Garneau by gathering and analyzing corresponding data in Dr. Bryson’s lab.

Step 1: Access the Galaxy Map
  • Interact with the Galaxy Map in the center of the lab.
  • EDI will suggest searching for clues to narrow down the location.
Step 2: Find the Three Clues

Creature Sightings:
  • Facing the Galaxy Map, go through the door on the left.
  • When the room opens up, turn right.
  • You'll see a table with rocks on the left and a bench with equipment on the right.
  • Approach the bench and interact with the switch in the top corner.
  • This will illuminate the wall and provide an interaction point labeled "Creature Sightings".
  • Select it to log the first clue.
Locations with Element Zero:
  • Return to the table with rocks on your left.
  • Interact with the "Rocks".
  • Then, interact with the "Scope" on the right.
  • A brief cutscene will play, confirming the second clue.
Reaper Activities:
  • Turn around and head to the other side of the room.
  • Interact with the "Video Log" near the computer.
  • After the video plays, turn around and go upstairs.
  • Walk to the small table in the corner and interact with the "Picture".
  • Head back downstairs to the "Video Log" location.
  • Just to the right of it, interact with "Encrypted Data" to uncover the third clue.
Step 3: Pinpoint the Location
  • Return to the Galaxy Map.
  • Activate each clue to refine the search.
  • Once all clues are analyzed, the precise location of Garneau will be revealed. The achievement will unlock immediately after.
DLC Achievements Part II
Omega
The Omega DLC becomes available after completing Priority: Palaven. Once you've reached this point in the story, you can begin the DLC by checking your email terminal on the Normandy for a message from Aria T'Loak.

Savior
Free Omega from Cerberus Occupation.
This achievement is story-related and will unlock automatically as you progress through the DLC.

Talon
Find the Talon leader.
This achievement is story-related and will unlock automatically as you progress through the DLC.

Meticulous
Complete all the Command Center side-missions on Omega.
To unlock this achievement, you must complete three side missions while progressing through the Omega DLC. Each mission is available at specific points and must be completed before advancing too far, as some areas become inaccessible later.

Quest 1: Assist the Mechanic
Location: Aria’s Bunker (First Visit)
Description: Before speaking with Aria to advance the DLC, find the Batarian mechanic in the bunker. He asks you to locate Power Inverters. These can be found in the Talon Outpost, after progressing through the story. Look to the left side of the large room, behind some big boxes. Make sure to collect them before leaving, as you cannot return later.

Quest 2: Assist the Hacker
Location: Aria’s Bunker (First Visit)
Description: Before continuing with Aria, go up the stairs to the right and enter the room. The hacker is inside, working on a console. Your task is to find three terminals throughout the mission:
  • Terminal #1 – Before Aria tells you to go through an air shaft, look to the left to find it.
  • Terminal #2 – After leaving the air shaft, go down several staircases. You’ll encounter Cerberus troops, clear them out, then find the terminal in the back right room.
  • Terminal #3 – In the next combat area, after dealing with more Cerberus troops, enter the second room and find the terminal in the far left corner, near a dying Turian.
Quest 3: Assist Harrot
Location: Aria’s Bunker (Second Visit)
Description: After regaining control of Shepard, look for the Elcor named Harrot, standing right next to you. He asks you to find Aria’s Couch. During the main mission, after overloading the reactor, you'll be tasked with activating the Dam Control terminal. Once you do this, cross the bridge and immediately climb down the ladder on the right. Walk towards the fan and interact with Aria’s Couch.

Citadel
To start the Citadel DLC, you’ll receive a message from Admiral Anderson informing you that he’s giving you his apartment in the Wards section of the Citadel. Once you get this message, you’ll have the option to select a new landing location on the Citadel through the Galaxy Map.
After arriving, you’ll begin a series of missions alongside your new squadmate, Brooks.

Priority Target

Perfect Host
Throw a party for your friends.
This achievement is story-related and will unlock automatically as you progress through the DLC.

King of the Castle
Win a prize at one of the arcade games.
In the Citadel DLC, you'll find an arcade area featuring several mini-games. One game is a turn-based spaceship combat simulator, another is a robot boxing-style game, and the last is a claw machine.

While the claw game might feel out of place in Mass Effect (this isn’t Yakuza, after all), you’ll still need to play it and win a prize. Keep in mind that prizes come in different colors, and anything other than green will reward you with better items.

Technical Issues
Investigate a strange occurrence in the combat simulator.
For this achievement, you need to win enough matches and earn high scores in the Combat Arena to purchase all silver token options from the arena store.

To do this, you must earn at least one silver token per match. However, you can speed up the process by earning gold tokens, which can be traded for three silver tokens. Just be sure not to spend any gold tokens until you unlock both Collector Combat and Super Elite Challenge from the gold token exchange store. This means you’ll need to earn at least two gold tokens before progressing.

Once that’s done, you also need to unlock the Spin Zone arena, which requires a bronze token. You can either earn one through matches or exchange a silver token for three bronze tokens in the exchange store.

After playing enough arena battles, check your messages. Eventually, you’ll receive a notification about strange high scores appearing in the arena. Follow the instructions in these messages, adjusting your combat settings accordingly. These challenges escalate as you complete them.

The final stage involves receiving a message titled Early Testing Results, instructing you to fight in an arena where all enemy-benefiting modifiers are enabled. To make this easier, choose Cerberus as your enemy faction and play on the lowest difficulty setting.

After completing that, the final message, Memory Leak Isolated, will appear. Follow the combat settings instructions, prepare for a tough fight, and again, play on low difficulty to get through it. Once you win this battle, the achievement will unlock.
DLC Achievements Part III
Simulated Hero
Score 9999 points in the combat simulator on Normal, Hardcore, or Insanity.
To unlock this achievement, you need to achieve a high score in the Combat Arena by using modifiers that increase enemy strength while hindering yourself.

As you progress through the arena, you’ll earn medals and tokens, which can be spent on score modifiers, enemy faction selections, and super elite enemies. Before starting, set the game to the lowest difficulty to improve your chances of survival. You can also activate the damage boost modifier to help offset the difficulty increase from other settings.

  • Toggle all enemy-boosting modifiers to maximize your score.
  • Use the increased damage modifier for an advantage.
  • Play on the lowest difficulty until the final round. Once you reach the last wave of enemies, switch the difficulty back to Normal to ensure the achievement unlocks correctly.
  • Ensure you're fighting Super Elite enemies from the Reaper faction to maximize your score.
  • Switch difficulty back to Normal before finishing the last wave to avoid invalidating the achievement.

Once you've met the requirements and completed the fight, the achievement will unlock.

The One and Only
Defeat a group of Spectre-level opponents on Normal, Hardcore, or Insanity.
To unlock this achievement, you need to purchase the Mirror Match option from the Gold Token Exchange Shop. Once you have it, enter the Combat Arena and activate combat modifiers that work in your favor while setting the game to an easier difficulty. Even with these advantages, be careful, as the Mirror Match enemies can still deal significant damage.

During the match, fight strategically and make use of cover to avoid getting overwhelmed. As you approach the final wave of enemies, make sure to switch the difficulty back to Normal before securing the victory. If you forget to do this, the achievement won’t unlock. Also, be sure not to die in the last round, as that will require you to replay the match.

Once you successfully win the fight with the difficulty set to Normal, the achievement will unlock.
Good Luck!
As I said, Mass Effect 3 is one of the best games out there, and it truly deserves to be completed, even if some achievements take a bit of time to unlock!

I hope this guide has been helpful to you. I took the time to research and verify that every achievement description and method I provided still works today (at the time of writing this).

Have fun, and good luck unlocking them all! ^^
