Backup Falcon BMS main folder (copy & rename it to something else)

-Falcon BMS version 4.37 or higher
-wordpad or notepad++
-disable "fly F-16s only" with BMS config tool

1. Open Config.exe in Falcon BMS main folder
2. Find the highlighted option,untick it and hit "Apply Changes"
This made all AI-only aircraft available for campaign and tactical engagement modes.(except helis)

To verify this start up the sim, and select a campaign.....

If you see something similar........you good to go.

Now...don't expect anything fancy and "high fidelity" simulation from these planes, remember most of them not meant to be flyable! They all have the f-16s cockpit as a placeholder automatically.

Their flightmodeling is simplified, but they definitely behave different from each other.
They all have their unique avionics, sensors, weapons etc.

Due to the difference between the F-16s cockpit management and other types of aircraft systems, operating these different jets will bring some surprises...........in the form of CTDs.

One of the problems causing such CTD is the selective release of external fuel tanks.

- The good news is that with some file editing, some of these can be eliminated.
- Bad news is that not all of them.......

The best example of this problem is the MiG-19, MiG-21, MiG-25, F-5, F-4,
For some reason, the store jettisons are locked on most AI-only aircraft, probably a failsafe to prevent the AI ​​from wasting some unused weapons or empty tanks when switching between 3D/2D states.

So in the next step we will enable the SEL-JETT for those 3 MIG's mentioned above.

Navigate to "Falcon BMS 4.37\Data\TerrData\Objects" and open the file BmsRack.dat
Scroll down or use the search function to locate the highlighted sections.

At the rackjettmodes and weapjettmodes change the values NONE to EMERGENCY,SELECTIVE

Save the file

Start up the sim, make a simple mission with these jets.(make sure they have droptanks loaded)
Load the mission and try to do a selective jettison.....

As you noticed, the Mig-19 only releases one of its wing tanks, while the 2 other will work fine.
This is the limitation of this method. 2 or more weapon hardpoints may require extensive editing of the BmsRack.dat or even other files & the sims main database.

Also the 19 has a wierd hardpoint arrangement.

IMPORTANT!!
When your on the S-J page avoid pressing buttons that have nothing on the screen next to them, it leads to CTD.
