Trying to get a sub-40 speedrun rn, best i got is 41 with the Crystal ball speed potion

Just gave it a try with the improved jump pot and you can clear the whole courtyard with it, I think it will be the quickest option, will try to time them over the weekend

+11 speed is actually a fairly good time save, since it persists when you're dead. Helps you move to the level end zone faster.

Yes, I'm sure it can be improved, this was just a fun and dumb try to break the game as quickly as possible :) I'm not sure the improved speed pot would help much, but if you could skip having to reach the tp with a jump one it could be the quickest route

You can actually cut this time further, not sure which option is exactly best yet though. You can look up and left to find a balloon as soon as you spawn, perambulate to grab it, break it to get a crystal ball, dump that into a cauldron, and then use a gimble root and either a toad or vigorshroom to make an empowered jump potion or a run speed potion. Then you can use the run speed to drop down and finish this route slightly faster, or use the jump potion in the courtyard to launch over the wall without having to wait on the elevator.
