Queuing for games
Blindfire has a system similar to many games where you can queue for different game modes. At the moment these are split into four choices:
Quickplay:
Queues for any/all modes.

The Crucible:
Queues for Bodycount & Team Bodycount.

War Games:
Queues for Kill Race, Team Kill Race, Spotlight & Touchdown.

Custom:
Make your own private game with any mode.

The next sections will go over each mode individually.
BodyCount & Team BodyCount
BodyCount: Blindfire's first mode!

BodyCount is a round based gamemode where you have one life per round, you gain points through staying alive and for kills as well as other bonuses (eg double kill).
When loading into BodyCount you get a random map, you can also see the players down the bottom left of this screen, and in the team variant you can see the players on both teams.
At the end of the round you will see the round scores and then the overall game scores so far:
Who ever has the most points at the end of the five rounds win! It's not all about kills, and while you're dead in the spectator mode you can activate traps to get extra trap assist points.
Kill Race & Team Kill Race
Kill Race! It's Blindfire's take on the normal deathmatch & team deathmatch.
You spawn in, kill people, die, and respawn until someone reaches the score target. In Blindfire, you get 10 points per kill and there are a few maps that you can get depending on the size of your game.
The size of the game also dictates how many points are needed to win.
There are some unique mechanics though, for example you can still activate traps when you die.
After 20 seconds you will automatically respawn at a random point, but if you want to spawn quicker just select one of the purple spawn points.
Spotlight
Spotlight, the first gamemode on the list without a solo variant.

In spotlight we have Borb.EE, look at this cute guy:
Borb.EE spawns in a platform near the center of the map. You have to hold Borb.EE to gain points, the first team to reach 100 points wins the round, the first team to win two rounds wins the game. This gamemode has infinite respawns.

The player holding Borb.EE will need to be protected, they can't shoot. However they do have health regeneration and infinite sprint.
In addition, they can also throw Borb.EE to teammates so that they can pick it up and continue gaining points.

In this game mode kills don't matter at all, it's all about holding Borb.EE.
Touchdown
Touchdown! This mode is a capture the flag type gamemode, with a big twist, the flag is instead a bomb.

Yup that's right, meet Borb.EE's cousin, Bomb.BO, grab him, and take him to the capture point to score, you can throw him instead, but that won't give you as many points.

There is a special spectator interaction in Touchdown to protect your goal from death as well, although this is a respawn gamemode.

Again, this game mode isn't about kills, although they are needed so that you can get points!
Custom
Now let's go over custom games!

First off, the game will start once you do the customisation and say start. There is no lobby like place to wait for people after you have set it up, so make sure to invite your friends before starting the custom game.

This is the screen you'll see when you select custom:

What you see here is all the customisation you can do in the custom games. You can select game mode in this screen.

Then if you click map you can see all the maps you can choose from as well. The same thing happens with the "weapons" option. Of course you can leave everything on random as well!

If you select the "player settings" option this is the screen that will show:
In this screen you can see multiple options to further modify the game.

And of course, last but not least we have the game settings option:
At the moment this just controls if there are bots in the game and if so how many bots are in the game.

And that's all the customisation for now, just select the "start match" button and have fun!
