species variants - a visual guide

This guide shows all five variants for seven of the species. **Species 7 will be added as soon as I finish Aqualis.

Intro
For each of the species, the only genetic trait that is different is the variant. I kept the colors, patterns, and sizes the same for each group so that the difference in variant would be easier to see. In general, variant 5 results in the most "complicated" representation for the species.

I apologize in advance for photo quality. Some of my little friends just wouldn't stand still!

Species 1 - Sharky
Variant 1 - simple horns, no spikes on back


Variant 2 - no horns, simple spikes on back


Variant 3 - simple horns, simple spikes on back


Variant 4 - fancy horns, no spikes on back (and cheesing for the camera!)


Variant 5 - fancy horns, fancy spikes on back
Species 2 - Allyca
Variant 1 - back spikes, no ears


Variant 2 - no spikes, small ears


Variant 3 - back spikes, small ears


Variant 4 - no spikes, extra ears (and extra cuddly!)

Variant 1 - two horns, smooth back (having a snack)

Variant 1 - two-part horns, smooth back

Variant 5 - fancy horns, spikes on shoulders
Species 6 - Hydrequs
Variant 1 - small head feathers, small elbow feathers


Variant 2 - small back ridge from head to tail


Variant 3 - head feathers, elbow feathers, tail feathers


Variant 4 - tall back ridge from head to tail


Variant 5 - tall back ridge, head feathers, elbow feathers, tail feathers
Species 7 - Carachnid

Variant 1 - Smooth skin, no crest on head.


Variant 2 - Triangular feathers all the way from head to tail.


Variant 3 - Rounded pyramid feathers from head to tail.


Variant 4 - Mixture of triangular and pyramid feathers, small crest on head.
Variant 5 - Triangular feathers, large head crest, large tail.

I found species 6 on Humble in caves near the southern sea. I have not seen them appear in the wild on Prime (yet).

Species 2- v 4 (skin pattern 4)
Species 3- v 3 (skin pattern 2)
Species 4- v 3 (skin pattern 3)
