Check the Steam Settings. As for the 1998 Reprint Version, I updated the CD-ROM Install Section as you may want to make a Second Freddi1 Folder called "Freddi1 1998" so that you can choose to play the Original or Updated Releases.
And its not just the Clue Bottles, but the Cage Key, Pearl, Wooden Board & the Purple Sea Urchins as well. They also had early designs.
There was an early design for the Clue Bottles used in Freddi Fish 1.

I told you where all the Clue Bottles are in the game. The locations of the Bottles are randomized with the beginning one you find is always in the Nexus & the last one leading you to the Sunken Ship
