Montik's guide relies primarily on spamming Reversal Headshot which accumulates Reversal+Headshot point. Here, we will spam Bumblebee's vehicle attack + stun instead; accumulating points from vehicle attack + status effect. While this method takes time and sometimes will not get the bonus time point, this is a far quicker method compared to Reversal Headshot spam. It's also more fun to do. Still, please read their guide first since there are more additional info there.

You only need two things for this method. Bumblebee and the Loudspeaker weapon.

The small handsome bot may be the weakest Autobot but that's what makes him perfect for spamming as your enemy won't die too fast and you don't even have to equip the Defect skill to your weapon. Bumblebee can also chain multiple vehicle attack easier compared to others which makes it easy to get an SS rank with him.



It doesn't matter what rank the weapon is or what skill you equipped it with since all we need is to spam the weapon's stun ability and get the bonus points for status effect (don't even have to equip the Defect skill either). We will chain this with our vehicle attack. Side note, equip a stronger weapon with further range as secondary weapon to deal with shooting sections as Loudspeaker is only good for close range.

Get ready to spam this!

Achieve Top Speed in vehicle mode -> Hold Heavy Attack (Y) or Light Attack (X)-> Vehicle Attack (RB) -> (Hold Aim (LT) + Shoot (RT)) -> Vehicle Attack (RB) -> Hold Vehicle Attack (RB) -> Repeat.

Top Speed -> Y or X (Hold) -> RB -> (LT (Hold) + RT) -> RB -> RB (Hold) -> Repeat

The reason you hold RB at the end of combo is so that you stay in vehicle mode which makes it easier to repeat the combo.


Make sure to hold Aim just a tiny bit long because there is a bit of delay and if you release it too fast, you won't shoot anything. If you have problem being consistent with shooting, wait until you see or hear the flashing where it prompt you to do the vehicle attack; that's when you quickly shoot then press vehicle attack.

• Hold the Dodge button after a perfect dodge to transform and while in vehicle mode press B to quickly turn and start the combo.
  
• At the bridge level, use this combo to push non-flying enemy off the bridge.
  
• For flying enemies, stun them first with the Loudspeaker then start the combo on them. You'll have a higher chance of getting an SS this way compared to just shooting them all down.
  
• When facing multiple enemies, you don't have to rely on this combo to kill everyone. You can mix with normal combo to finish off one or two enemies. For example, you're facing two Heavies (The tank grunt); use the spam combo for one Heavy then finish off the other with a normal combo. But if you want to be on the safe side just use the spam combo to everyone.
  
• During Boss battle, you also don't have to spam this all the time. You can spam this like just 50% of the time then you can do whatever combo you liked.
  
• You can let yourself get hit or revived by Auto-repair item, and still get an SS rank but it is better to avoid it if possible.

For weapon skills, you can use anything you want. What's great about this method is you don't have to rely on Defect skill to farm SS rank. Though, Defect skill might make it easier to get you an SS rank.

For Tech skills however, it's recommended to equip non-damaging skills. You don't want to kill the enemy too quickly since this method relies on accumulating points by repeating the same move for as many times as you can. I recommend using Enhanced Dodge Tech to make your life easier and be consistent in avoiding damage.

The important thing is to not miss any mission. During shooting sections, you can settle with just getting an S.


But try as much as you can to avoid A rank or below especially in stages where there are less missions. Below is an example on how despite having a lot of SS rank., even 1 to 2 'A' rank will drag your rank down.
