📘 What Is This?
The Aska Job & Schedule Planner is a free Google Sheets tool that helps you:
  • Assign jobs based on perks and skill proficiency
  • Track who’s already working
  • Create custom rotating shift schedules with sleep/leisure/work cycles
  • Avoid downtime and optimize large settlements

✅ How To Use It
Step 1: Make a Copy
👉 ASKA Job & Schedule Planner Sheet[docs.google.com]
→ Click File > Make a Copy

Step 2: Fill Out Settler Info
Go to the Settler Input tab:
  • Add settler names
  • Select their perks
  • Set proficiency levels (1–3)

Step 3: Check Job Matches
Open the Job Ranking tab to pick a settler and see best-matching jobs.
Or, use Settler Ranking by Job to pick a job and see who fits it best.

Step 4: Assign & Track Jobs
Use the Job Assignments tab to assign jobs and auto-filter filled roles.

Step 5: Build a Schedule
  • Visit the Schedule Generator tab:
  • Set Sleep, Work, and Leisure hours
  • Toggle Mid-Work Breaks to add a third leisure slot during work
  • Go to Aska Tools > Generate Shifts
    Note: If it your first time running it needs to authorize running the script. After that click it again and the script should run.
  • Supports up to 3 shift pairs (Day/Night) with auto-staggering

In my case either im loged in or not it doesnt show me

I'm not sure if it's just me, but the button (Aska Tools) only appears if I'm logged onto a google account. Both on the original view-only and my copy of it.
I'm not sure if fiddling with my copy borked it but "Settler Ranking by Job" does not work beyond 50 rows (tried using the Aska Tools and/or basic add/drag rows) and in the original version, it starts with Kjell rather than Jensen. I don't use sheet/excel too often for work but I know how easily it borks up.
But! Having this is super helpful to any degree towards organizing villagers and I'm super thankful *something* exists. Much easier than on my own trying to keep them organized/happy. I don't know how to build one but a warehouse planner would be great addition. Hopefully Aska team adds/works on something more user friendly in management.

Sorry I forgot to change the wording on the button for the scripts, It's called Aska Tools next to the Help button at the top. You also need to run the script the first time and give it authorization before it can run. After you've approved it can do it's thing.

Very nice but in 1.0 the clear settler input isnt working saying that the script is not found
