There are several different types of seeds as well as soils they can be planted into. As the game progresses, it can get a little confusing trying to remember what does what and which can be planted where. This guide is to help with that.

Halid Seeds

- Grows Into: Halid Zoa, the green plants you first come across in the game.

- Soil Types: Fertile (green), Watered (blue), Enriched (red).

- Purpose: Simply to grow more Halid Zoa.

- How to Obtain: Nothing special required.
Hydron Seeds

- Grows Into: Hydron Zoa, the second plant you come across.

- Soil Types: Fertile (green), Watered (blue), Enriched (red).

- Purpose: Enables Halid Zoa and Ledon Zoa to grow to their next stage.

- How to Obtain: Nothing special required.
Prax Seeds

- Grows Into: Prax Zoa, the carnivorous plant that likes to bite at you and eat other mobile creatures.

- Soil Type: Acidic (yellow).

- Purpose: To plant more Prax Zoa.

- How to Obtain: Chase a mobile creature (Phyta or Cycot) into one. The Prax Zoa will eat the creature, and afterwards spit out a new yellow seed.
Feran Seeds

- Grows Into: Feran Zoa, the plant that sort of resembles a Prax Zoa, except it won't try to hurt you and it spits out more red seeds.

- Soil Type: Acidic (yellow).

- Purpose: Can kill other mobile creatures, as well as certain plants - throwing one at a Halid Zoa, Hydron Zoa, Ledon Zoa, or Cephad Zoa will wipe it out. You can also kill a Prax Zoa with it, but only if the plant catches it and eats it (takes a few moments). It will kill a Larian if you throw it at its blue tongue and let it eat it.

- How to Obtain: Nothing special required.
Ledon Seeds

- Grows Into: Ledon Zoa, the really tall, crooked plants.

- Soil Type: Fertile (green), Watered (blue), Enriched (red).

- Purpose: To grow more Ledon Zoa.

- How to Obtain: Simply use a Hydron Seed to water an existing Ledon Zoa, or push the Ledon Seed into Enriched (red) or Watered (blue) soil.
Cephad Spores

- Grows Into: Cephad Zoa - purple or orange, depending on which spore you used.

- Soil Type: All.

- Purpose: A purple spore can kill a Prax Zoa just by attaching itself to an existing plant's soil. It can also be used to turn acidic (yellow) soil back to fertile (green).

An orange spore can kill any non-acidic plant. It can also be used to turn non-acidic soils to acidic (yellow).

- How to Obtain: Nothing special required.

NOTE: Cephad Zoa can be quite destructive to the other plants. Plant them sparingly.
Compost

Although not a seed, it deserves a special mention.

- Soil Type: Fertile (green), Watered (blue).

- Purpose: To use on fertile or watered soil and enrich it (make it red), which is the best that soil can be for all non-acidic plants.

- How to Obtain: Chase a mobile creature (Phyta or Cycot) into a Larian (plant with the blue, rope-like tongue that drags creatures to their death) and after the plant finishes eating, it will spit out a carcass which will shortly turn into compost.
