yes its been a lonjg time since i been on the Repopulation but last time 2015 there was a NPC that was a wepon spacialist and touch you a few gun recipies then the real fun begins when you can find rare gun Blue prints from Hostile AI and other friendly npc though quest or shop

@wolfmire there is some prereqisits on Gunsmithing but there should be a crfter in the main city that can teach you the basics on gun smithing and you will learn the recipies

could you do one that's all about gunsmithing. I want to be a gunsmith baddly. though I feel I missed certain skills I needed

One tip that i figured out and is working for me at least, is to use the recipe for hardwood lumber and softwood lumber. It'll make multiple hardwood or softwood firewood which can be used as a refinement agent or a heat source much the same as the normal log. In essence your increasing your yield per log.
