Items Overview
As you play Disco Dodgeball, you'll randomly collect various items that can be equipped as optional cosmetic items or crafted into better ones. This guide explains how this process works and provides details on which items are available.

Your Disco Dodgeball items are fully integrated with your Steam Inventory. This means that you can trade Disco Dodgeball items with friends for items from Disco Dodgeball or any other game (e.g. TF2 Hats, CS:GO Weapon Skins, Game Coupons, Trading Cards, Steam Emoticons, etc.)

You can also buy and sell your items on the Steam Community Market. Prices for items are set by players, usually based on how rare and desirable the item is.
Finding Items
Junk or Common-quality items will randomly drop as you play. There are some thresholds that determine how often items drop, and simply idling will not cause items to drop or qualifying playtime to accumulate.

You can accumulate qualifying playtime and find item drops during both multiplayer and singleplayer modes. Winning or losing will not affect your drop rate.

Most of the Junk items that will drop are base crafting ingredients - see below for more detail on how crafting works.

Every once in a while a Common-quality, ready-to-use cosmetic will drop. These can include decals, sunglasses, and faces.

Other items can only be obtained from crafting, or as special trophies from community events.
Crafting Items
Crafting provides a way to recycle items into scrap and combine them for a chance at an even better item.

To craft an item, go to Profile / Inventory and select an item. If it can be crafted into another item, the item detail panel will show what other ingredients are required, if any, and what the target crafting item will be.

Most of the items that drop during gameplay are Basic Crafting Parts:

Nut
Bolt
Screw
Gear
Spring

Collect a full set of 5 Basic Parts and you can craft them into one random Advanced Part:

Motor
Battery
Circuit
Piston
Spark Plug

If you collect a full set of Advanced Parts, you can craft them into one random cosmetic item. These items will be of Uncommon Quality or greater, meaning there is a chance to craft a Rare or Epic quality item from a set of Advanced parts.
Troubleshooting
Inventory is blank

Your items are stored securely on Steam's servers, and the game downloads the information when it runs. Sometimes the item servers have connection issues, even if you're able to access Steam just fine. This means the game may open and all your items appear to be missing. Rest assured, they are intact - and you can browse your inventory through the Steam client to confirm.

You should get a pop-up notification when the game starts notifying you of this situation. It is usually a very temporary problem.

Inventory is out-of-date / Unable to Craft

Very rarely, you may notice that your inventory appears to be intact, except it's a slightly older version than what you can browse in your Steam Client (i.e. is missing a few items).

A related problem is that you are able to receive item drops, but not craft anything. It just says 'Craft Failed'.

This happens if you lose connection to Steam's item server, but the game is able to use a temporary cached copy in userdata\\[steamid]\\inventorymsgcache. You will be able to see from the modify dates on those files if you're only able to retrieve stale items.

This is also usually a temporary issue and should resolve itself within an hour.

A Dodgecoin is an item you earn from trading in spare Advanced Parts and Glasses and Faceplates. You can use it to upgrade your Badge level, once you've completed enough Missions. Your badge level unlocks new missions, and is displayed on the in-game scoreboard, and awards cosmetics when you upgrade it.

Sorry I haven't updated this guide with this information yet. But you can also get info from the in-game guide (About / Guide)

@Solar there was a bug that I believe is now fixed. Crafting recipes weren't being downloaded. But give it a shot now.

Every mystery box comes with a random item and a random stratbrag.

I believe you can only get stratbrags on the marketplace or in a mystery box from the disco dodgeball superstore. I don't think you can get them in-game.

I have a question regarding "stratbrags" namely, how to get them. I've seen them up for sale on the steam market, but I have no idea how to get one, are they incredibly rare crafts? Or cna you get them through some kind of acheivement? Event only? If anyone knows how to get them I would apreciate it a lot if you would let me know.
