This was the most important info i learned to help me not only catch fish but use the net.
Everyone that is struggling should watch this first.















Once i watched this i copied exactly his technique.

Remember...just because the screen says grab the net it is not time to grab the net!!!
Never, ever and i mean never grab the net when you first get the fish to shore.
This is why i was losing all the fish i lost. i stubbornly fished for 6 hrs, losing every fish i caught, mostly because i wasnt properly tiring out the fish. One thing i noticed is that even the big fish will come in easy but will take a long time to tire out. What i do when i get them close to shore is use the drag technique i learned in that video. Keep pulling back and reeling down with the drag set high enough to hit red on the pull but still show blue on the reel down. My expierance was that on the reel down if the fish still dove below around 3.8 feet its not tired enough yet. Keep working it til it stays in a range of 1-3.5 feet.
The next thing i learned was that before i grab my net i want the rod set in about a 90 degree angle from my body, this gives me room to raise the rod when i net the fish.
Now grab the net, push it into the water slightly than lift your rod and than drag it towards the net.
The next IMPORTANT thing to learn is if you cant net the fish in like 5-10 seconds than drop the net. Once the screen resets to you fishing REMEMBER to click the reel in button TWICE as quick as possible so as to keep the line tight. Just repeat above steps til you net the fish.
Once i learned these things ive only lost one of my next 20 fish. This is the first fish i caught in a net and it fired me up.







So dont give up and keep on fishing!
