Introduction
The ingame description of Staves and Robes isn't very accurate and sometimes missleading.
For example: Bonus to Water doesn't have any effect using Staves even if it's in the description.

With Version 1.1.0.0 they fixed bonuses on Earth and Shield spells.

This list doesn't include any monster drops.

Staves
Little Chemist
  • Strong bonus to Lightning, Fire and Steam (+100%)
  • Slows Focus Regeneration (+100%)



Panda Staff
  • Massive bonus to Earth and Ice (+100%) - nerfed from 200%
  • Greatly weakens Fire and Steam (-80%)



Olde Root
  • Incredible bonus to Life spells (+400%)
  • Very weak at all other elements (-50%)



Jester Staff
  • Massive bonus to Shield spells (+100%) - fixed for mines, storms, element walls
  • Greatly hastens Focus Regeneration (-67%)


Training Staff
  • Slightly weakens all spells (-10%)
  • Slows Focus Regeneration (+10%)



Duck Staff
  • Strong bonus to Cold and Steam (+100%) - nerfed from 200%
  • Greatly weakens Fire (-50%) and Lightning (-50%)
  • Bonus to Water (no effect)


Toy Bjarv
  • Strong to Cold and Ice (+100%)
  • Weakens Fire and Steam (-50%)
  • Greatly hastens Focus Regeneration (-50%)


Staff of Lok
  • Bonus to all elemental spells (+50%)

Example:
Selfcasting a Death element (S) does 160 damage on Wizard Robe with Wizard Staff. Helviti Staff adds +100% damage to Death. With this Staff a Death element does 320 (160 Death + 160 Bonus Death) damage on Wizard Robe.

Summon Living Dead People (Magick) with Hotkey (4) has a 15 seconds cooldown with Wizard Staff in Single Player Mode on Normal. Using Staff of Lok will increase the Focus Regeneration +900%. Which means this Magick can be used after 150 seconds (15 + 135) with the Hotkey again.

Wuxia Robe
  • Vulnerable to all elements (+20%)
  • Bonus healing from Life spells (+20%)
  • Great increase in Movement Speed (+20%)


Astronomer Robe
  • Highly Vulnerable to Earth and Ice (+100%)
  • Superb protection against Fire, Lightning and Cold (-50%)



Vanir Armor
  • Very vulnerable to Lightning damage (+100%)
  • Superb protection against Earth and Ice (-50%)
  • Slight decrease in Movement Speed (-10%)


Robin Robe
  • Vulnerable to Cold and Ice (+50%)
  • Bonus healing from Life spells (+50%)
  • Slight increase of Movement Speed (+5%)


Feskar Robe
  • Slightly vulnerable to Fire (+20%)
  • Almost Immune to Water and Steam (-90%)
  • Protects against Wet Status


Vanir Robe
  • Protects against Cold (-50%) and Earth (-25%)
  • Protects against Chilled Status
  • Slight decrease in Movement Speed (-10%)


Pyromaniac Robe
  • Highly vulnerable to Cold and Ice (+100%)
  • Superb protection against Fire and Steam (-60%)
  • Protects against Burning Status


Lab Robe
  • Vulnerable to Earth and Ice (+100%)
  • Protects well against Fire, Lightning, and Steam (-50%)
  • Protects against Shocked Status

Scavenger Robe
  • Healed by Poison (100 Poison Dmg = 300 HP)
  • Barely healed by Life (-90%) spells
  • Protects against Fire (-40%) and Burning status
DLC: Ice, Death and Fury


Example:
A simple Lightning Element (A) does 612 damage over the full duration on Wizard Robe. Wearing a Vanir Armor you receive +100% additional Lightning damage. Which means you receive 1224 (612 Base Damage + 612 Weakness) Lightning damage instead.

Selfcasting a Rock (DDDDD) at youself does 114 Earth damage on Wizard Robe. Wearing a Vanir Armor reduces the Earth damage -50%. Which means you receive 57 (114 Base Damage - 57 Protection) Earth damage instead.

The water bonus of the Founder's Staff massively increases the knockback of water spells.
Very good (and funny) use:
-Channel 1Rock 4Water
-Cast on your self while walking forward
This will let a Rock fall from above right behind you and create a big water AoE that sends you flying forward.
With the founders staff this spell will basically always shoot you far enough to hit the next
level border.

the bonus to water is a real insane thing, especially on the founders staff. if you can, try to get a friend and area cast on them - theyll fly away into the stratosphere.

Both the founder's wand and Duck wand's bonuses to water actually increase the knockback. I tested with both on Chapter 1 and was able to find that using a non-bonus wand to cast dqqqq starting under the first banner's shadow and aiming to the bottom left of the screen, you can launch to slightly past the jester. The duck and founders wands, however, both had the same increased knockback and using the same setup, launched me around 3 times the distance to just next to the second banner. Both the duck and founder's wands are the same. Also of note was that the Olde root was able to travel around 1/3 the distance. The training wand's distance was very small if not an error, so I think that it isn't affecting it.

@Eevryone_ It's a reference to Game of Thrones, Nights Watch.
- What it does in game is it allows you to walk through summoned physical walls. They crumble when you walk against them.
- It can be useful against some of the enemies that make walls, then charge at you. these enemies can walk through those walls, This robe lets you also walk through those walls like they do.
