This guide will show players the stealth ratings they can received upon game completion and how they measure up in Stealth rankings posted after a succsessful game. I have added some screenshots taken at the Standing Stones after the last piece has been placed to activate the ending of the game. Also, I have incuded all of the Letters that can be found in the game as well as all the books, plus other oddities that can be found in the archipelago. Thanks and happy gaming. I was able to achieve all 13 of the Stealth ratings on this list. Interesting to look at the screenshots of the 13 Stealth ratings (provided below) and compare the differences. Some do not clearly show a difference, however. Bottom line, it's all about the period of time spent inside "Alert Mode" status. Whether the Landowner, balloon, scarecrow, dogs, poachers, riders the squire or hunters see you is not the problem. It is when they are "alerted" to your presence that down grades the stealth points. Just try to evade quickly.
I have been fortunate with Royalty several times, but mostly I am a Lower Working Class bloke. Let me know if there are more stealth ratings that you have seen. As far as I know ROYALTY is the highest rating and gives you bragging rights with your mates. If you get this rating consider yourself lucky and enjoy a pint of stout, you've earned it. You are well on your way to being a Grand Master of Ecky Thump.
The main factor for a high stealth rating is very simple: just stay out of sight. Good players can remain hidden by using stealth tactics and being very clever with their noise makers. You will be seen by hunter bots but its the amount of time you spend in a robots line of sight that affect your rating. The ability to elude and evade once seen by a hunter is critical. When spotted head for cover and get out of sight. Dogs will always be a menace to the player.
This game is not about how many robots you can kill but rather how many you can sneak past without them seeing you. Try not to be noticed and use as much cover and concealment as possible. Clocks, bottles and trains can be your best friend. Also, starting a fire at a log pile can attract hunter bots from a rather long distance just remember not to run towards the direction they may approach from. Happy gaming.

What you may see at the end of the game.
A reminder about the Landowner and "ANY" Bots at the stones. They can still kill you at the Stones, once the last piece is placed, if you are not high enough in the air when they shoot. The Landowner can also get you with one of his strikes. I have had to restart from my last save several times due to bleeding or being killed after placing the last piece and not rising high enough to avoid damage. Always save first, then place the piece. Newer versions of the game may change this outcome, but I prefer the challenge knowing it is a race and the mechanical monsters can be in hot pursuit when placing the last piece. Love having them chase you to the last minute.

Books not returned to the Library
Books can be found scattered about the archipelago in almost any location. Best guarantee to find a book every single time is to kill and loot a scarecrow. Strange indeed, they cannot read but will almost always have what you need. A book to read and pumkin to eat.

Here are all the books I have collected so far and if any are missing I will recheck my screenshots and update this guide. Enjoy reading the stories.

Villages You May Visit In The Archipelago
There are many Villages to be explored in the Archipelago and I do not know the exact
number, but each one has a name. I will list as many as I can find and let me know if there are some not listed here. I am currently working on numerous screenshots to load.

If the bots are killed without them being alerted to you it should not affect the rating. I killed bots with TNT and shot two from behind in an ambush. I have played several games were all I alerted was a balloon once, one scarecrow and a dog and I got the middle class rating. It is ALL about not being detected at all. Also you must use the Aristocrat setting. It is all about the time they are in alert mode. Running straight away is much faster than turning and backing away. Getting away from dogs is the worse since it is almost impossible to get away from them. When bots are alerted to you that's where stealth points are lost, because it is the amount of time you stay in detection mode. If the Squire says good day to you then he has seen you and it cost you points whether he is shooting or not. Good luck at that rating and do not give up since it is possible, it just takes patience.:pumpkin:

Can anyone comment more specifically on how to earn Royalty stealth rating?

I'm surprised to see OP earned Royalty even after murdering 40+ robots.... my latest game I earned 'Posh'. I only killed 8 robots. I basically killed those who saw me when I was in an exposed area/couldn't immediately hide so I thought I was doing really well. Pretty disappointed to get 3rd place after only being seen a handful of times and never getting drawn into a prolonged chase or gunfight.

One scarecrow saw me but I backed away til it turned off and nobody else found me. I also chilled out with a squire for a bit near his village at the end of my run but I didn't spend THAT much time there and he never attacked me (not sure if squires count against stealth rating?)

If pieces were guarded I used bottles, trains or clocks to draw the robots away.

Not sure what I could have done better.. :/ any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for checking out my guide. It is a work in progress. First and only one I have attempted and needs much more tweaking and tuning. These village names may take some time since I have about 30 or more to load. :pumpkin:

You have compiled the Sir, You are Being Hunted archives. I shall take a gander at those letters when I get the chance since I was too busy briskly meandering about with my tea.
