How to Install GFWL and Play ONLINE [2016]

These instructions will be useful to install properly GFWL and enjoy RE: ORC and all its online functions.
Note: It seems that the game is not working online on Windows 10.

Estas instrucciones te seran utiles para instalar correctamente GFWL y disfrutar de RE: ORC con todas sus funciones online.
Nota: Parece que el juego no funciona en linea en Windows 10.

1- Ve al panel de control / programas y caracteristicas y desinstala las siguientes aplicaciones:
-"Microsoft Games for Windows Marketplace"
-"Microsoft Games for Windows - LIVE Redistributable."

2- Instala la version mas nueva de Games for Windows Live:

Link: http://www.xbox.com/en-IE/Live/PC/DownloadClient

3- Ve a Documentos>Capcom>RERC y elimina el archivo "settings.dat"

4- Inicia el juego

5- Cuando el juego te abra la ventana de GFWL selecciona iniciar con otra cuenta

6- Inicia sesion con tu cuenta de Xbox LIVE o con tu cuenta de GFWL (en caso de no tener una, es necesario crearla), y escribe tu clave de juego cuando te la pida

7- GFWL te pedira una actualización, es necesario descargarla (tener paciencia y sigue los pasos que te diga GFWL)

8- Despues de descargar la actualización, inicia el juego de nuevo y entra con tu cuenta de LIVE

9. Se descargara tu perfil y ya podras acceder a las funciones online

10- Disfruta!

1 Go to Control Panel / Programs and Features and uninstall the following applications:
- "Microsoft Games for Windows Marketplace"
- "Microsoft Games for Windows - LIVE Redistributable."

2- Install the newest version of Games for Windows Live:
Link: http://www.xbox.com/en-IE/Live/PC/DownloadClient

3- Go to Documents>Capcom>RERC folder and delete the "settings.dat" file

4- Start the game

5- When GFWL is open select "Sign in with another account"

6- and now sign in with your Xbox LIVE or GFWL account (if you do not have one, you need to create it), and enter your cd key

7- GFWL will ask for an update, you need to download it (be patient and follow the steps)

8- After downloading the update, start the game again and enter your LIVE account

9. Your profile will be downloaded and you will be able to access online features

10- Enjoy!

If you can't start GFWL or the game itself

-Follow the steps of the guide

-if the game crash, put the game launcher and GFWL in compatibility mode with Windows 7 and execute the game as administrator

Si no puedes iniciar en GFWL o abrir el juego en si:

-Sigan los pasos de la guia

-Si el juego crashea al iniciar pongan el launcher del juego y el de GFWL en modo compatibilidad con Windows 7 y ejecutarlo como administrador

-Disfrutar!

All you need to do is download the files extract the Tu.cab into your download folder or at the same place you have gfwl set up , then run gfwl setup and launch the game then it will prompt you to login and update , run the update exit game / run game again then login xbox live with your present account info , it easy as 1,2,3 :uc_umbrella:

Follow the instructions , youll get it , might not seem to work at first and install in right order and launch the game and login to gfwl , i done this 2 times now and both time was a bitch to install but finally got it

Just install windows live crap,log in your account hotmail and wait about5-7min if not get error and all work well u get a msgbox to put the cdjey..PROFIT I am the prove still work this in 2024.
