a "beta"?! the game comes out comes out in 10 days.. there is little to no time to fix big problems.. This is a "demo" of some sort to get people interested. Don't use the term "beta" so lightly.

Doomsayer: When people can't reach their desired screen's hertz, disabling vsync will indeed make a massive difference. I'm on a 144Hz monitor and playing with 60FPS, if I can increase my FPS by disabling Vsync it will be a very big difference.

You don't achieve much by turning V-sync off. Sure, your FPS counter goes up but if you go above your screen's refresh rate, those frames are going to be thrown away, making no visual difference. And most of the game's simulations run on the server-side too, so you really don't get anything by increasing your frame rate on the client's side. Personally, I like leaving V-sync on because it saves some energy on my CPU.
