I play NBA2K since 2013 (2K14) so I definitely know what I'm doing. I did this guide last year as well and due to great feedback, I decided to do it this year as well. First of all - You do not upgrade Gold Badges to Hall of Fame Badges with VC. You have to earn them. Hall of Fame Badges are an upgraded and better version of the Gold Badges. You can only get the Hall of Fame versions for the upgradable ones of your specific archetype. You need to have your Gold Badges unlocked of the ones that you want on Hall of Fame. If you want the Hall of Fame versions, just do the exact same thing you did in order to unlock the bronze version, but 4 times the amount needed for bronze.

No information on how to get them yet, but this is a temporary badge that activates if you do a specific action in a game.
