Introduction
What's up!

So you need to get a MikuMikuDance(abbreviated to mmd) into Blender.

Well you clicked on the right guide.

Now I know I am definitely not the best person to be teaching this guide however the only models I actually mess with in Blender are mmd models. So I think I have a pretty good grasp at importing these models.
Downloads
Let's start with the things you will need to download, and some explanations as to what each of these are.

Where to find a model.[www.deviantart.com] You can find plenty of stuff to download on Deviantart. Make sure you get the creators permission however if you wish to publish this anywhere as your own. Also make sure to give credit as no one wants their content stolen

Here is another place I know you can find models on and the one I personally use. The same rules apply on BowlRoll as Deviantart however it may be harder to contact these people.

{LINK REMOVED} This is the set of tools I use for blender when working with MMD files. It can do more than just import but that is all we are focusing on in this guide

Adding mmdtools to Blender
Open up Blender and click on File>User Preferances or just use Ctrl+Alt+U.
This little box should come up and on it click install from fileAfter you click Install from file navigate to wherever you have your mmdtools saved and click on install from file. A littler box should be up that says Object:mmd_tools. Click on the little checkmark on the left and you have added mmdtools to Blender!

Importing the model
You should now see on the left tabs a little tab that says MMD. Click on it and the tab will open. Now under the Import section you want to click on model. Navigate to where you have your model saved and click Import PMX file(.pmx).
And thats all there is to it! Its a simple little guide but someone may find use from it. Thanks for viewing!

I replaced somethings to prevent the link from being removed.

Pardon me, it's been ages honestly since I tried it. I don't really remember.

I believe the github you posted is correct. Did it work out for you? If so I'll update the guide

@cammy1 at the very least could you fix the borked link in the guide that is removed? I only took a guess at what I thought might of been it.

Note to those just finding this guide: I haven't worked with blender in around five years now. Nor have I done any work for gmod since then. I'm sorry but I probably won't be able to answer a majority of questions you may have. I hope this is helpful for at least some however. Thanks.
