Mostly because the Hunters kept leaping off the dam, and the vehicles in the way provided good cover against Smokers. Don't really have anything to say about the Boomer, as he didn't show up once during the sprint to the other side of the dam.
Overall, pretty good, but the finale needs some fixing... That is, if you're still working on the campaign, which you're obviously not doing anymore.
Granted, i played it with the "L4D1 Co-op" mutation, as Dam It was going to be a campaign in the first game, so maybe that's why the finale felt a bit overwhelming, as i didn't have any melee weapons to slice through the mobs.
