Don't worry, it's not going anywhere.
I think this tool is better for tiny models then new
Error creating 'prop_resizedragdoll_transmit' (Make sure the file is AddCSLuaFile'd and there aren't any errors!)
Getting this error, any fix?
I think you might have an old version of the addon installed somehow. Try unsubscribing, closing GMod, and then resubscribing again to see if you can get it to redownload the addon.
1. unknown - lua/entities/prop_resizedragdoll.lua:102
this is the message (it keeps spamming it in console)
The error shouldn't be happening at all. Can you open the console (press ~) and paste the whole error message it's giving you?
It's in the Ragdoll Resizer's controls, down near the bottom, right by the slider you used to change the eye size in the first place.
Reinstall the mod and click the "reset eye scale" button in the tool's controls. That should fix it.
Alright, I put out a hotfix update to fix the errors so you won't be kept waiting.
Expect another update later on, though. The GMod update actually fixed a huge problem I had to work around just to get these resized ragdolls working (entities of this certain type not being able to do anything clientside, like "posing" the resized ragdoll for instance). Now that the workarounds aren't necessary any more, I should be able to make everything a whole lot cleaner and more efficient behind the scenes.
I'd also like to look into adding an option that would let you convert the "old" resized ragdolls from this addon into the posable resized ragdolls from the new addon. Is that something you'd all be interested in? Or do you still stick with the old tool because you'd rather work with the effect-style resized ragdolls instead?
At least I managed to get my last video installment finished before this started. Both resizers are usually essential to my works (and over 95,400, but you know that), because one can do what another can't, so fixing this would be a lifesaver. Again, thanks for looking into this.
