These aren't death troopers, they have completely different armor

Shadow Troopers were a variety of Imperial Stormtroopers
equipped for and assigned to covert missions. They have
cloaking devices in their armor that make them invisible.

First time anyone ever sees these
guys is in the 2008 game "Star Wars
The Force Unleashed" but despite Disney
buying off Lucasfilm and considering that
game "non-canon" the Shadow Troopers
are brought back in EA's Star Wars Battlefront
remakes.
