additionally, every time I try it adds a new "Workshop mod XXXXXXXXX" (string of 9 random numbers) to my library, with a listed game version of "None" and that I cant remove from my in game library.

Really weird issue, I cannot get this mod (and only this mod for some reason) to Install. Every other mod comes in fine, I sub and it gets added to the library, able to be activated in game, but Hugslib Specifically wont for some reason? just doesnt show up in the library.

Here's how to fix HugsLib black screen on startup:

Method 1 – Through Windows Security:

• Open Windows Security from the Start menu
• Click on App & browser control
• Scroll down and click Exploit protection settings
• Go to the System settings tab
• Find Randomize memory allocations (Bottom-up ASLR)
• Set it to Use default (On)
• Click Apply
• Restart your PC

Method 2 – PowerShell (advanced users):

• Open PowerShell as Administrator
• Type: Get-ProcessMitigation -System
• Look for: ASLR: BottomUp: OFF or NOTSET
• If it’s OFF or NOTSET, then type: Set-ProcessMitigation -System -Enable BottomUp
• Restart your PC

idk how much effort it would involve, but it'd be cool if error log publishing would include things like mod list, save file, and a snapshot of current world layers open.

Hi all, I just released a tiny update to fix the log publisher.
In case of future issues, you an always copy the log to your clipboard (Ctrl+Alt+F12) and post it elsewhere.

trying to get the log but pressing ctrl+f12 just gets me a "upload error: HTTP/1.1 401 unauthorised"

getting a 401 error thrown up while trying to get a log for troubleshooting. have no clue how to get a log otherwise.

when is that intended to be fixed? id like to find out why my storages arent working as intended. and im not getting any errors regarding them. and only seeing this damn log which has never failed before will help.

Shoutout to the guy in the comments who suggested enabling 'Randomize memory allocations' in Windows Defender to play with this; it fixed the black screen issue I experienced every time I tried to play with mods and i was struggling legit for 1yr+ figuring it out.

Hugslib? More like Bugslib.

@Srip I had the same issue of not being able to open debugs menu. I managed to narrow down my massive modlist and determined Alpha Mythology was causing the issue. If you've got that, try disabling it.

Anyone able to figure out what the conflict is with hubslib to not be able to open debugs menu?

A error code has popped up for this, wont let me open bills in the kitchen and menu button won't load not sure why.

@Alu the error log itself didn't appear in my game, the problem itself appear when I'm trying to generate a world and I can't doing it. How to find and copy a log without an error log btw?

@_♣Caligula♣_ I've been check all of my mod. And only when I disabled hugslib, I can generate a world again in new game. It's suck because some of my favourite mods need this mods

"I cannot, without high risk of crashing (9.1/10 times) make a caravan and settle a new tile/attack another faction's settlement with hugslib active. I tested my list without hugslib and mods dependent on it active, and the function works properly. I then tested all the mods that I have that could impact world generation- none of them on their own resolved the issue. Only after I removed hugslib and mods needing it and testing in the same session up to 3 times in a row (quitting to the main menu twice) would the function work- The issue still persisted even after removing each of the potential world generation impacting needing hugslib mods. This is devastating to me."
