Game starts in Simplified Chinese on Steam Deck

It threw me for a loop at first and the first time I tried to change it I clicked on Quit game by mistake. Anyone else have this issue when first launching the game? I'm playing on Steam Deck so that could have something to do with it.

A few things I notice

Having fun playing this so far. This isn't the type of game I usually play but I'm really enjoying it. A few things I would add/change though: 1 - controller support - I just prefer to play on controller because I grew up on consoles and I hate playing m/kb but this game does work with just m/kb very well. 2 - at times the music is louder than the voice acting (noticed this in the opening sequence and a few other places) and I can't hear what they are saying 3 - I don't see like a save game button so ...

Definitely not earning yourself points with this one are you, devs? Nothing kills my hype more than see a new game pop up and oh, here's the DLC if you want the complete experience we cut out from the base game.
