Fun little game, short but well worth the price.

really liked this one actually- ive dabbled in lidar games in the past but honestly, this one has a neat charm to it. yes, the concept is simple, but the attention to details, ambience building and side-quests in the levels add so much to it. i also really liked the sound design on this one, the music gradually getting slower before each level + the ominous sfx adds unique tension building that you dont seem to find even in "traditional" horror games. i thought the scanner customisation and the lil part where they included your steam profile picture into the game pretty neat too. although like others have said, constantly running into random, small objects like plants and not being able to jump very well is a setback- that aside though, id definitely recommend if youre lookin' for a (mostly) chill game to kill an hour or two

The concept and moment-to-moment gameplay of LiDAR Exploration Program is pretty fun but there are still some slight areas that could use improvement. The movement is a little sluggish and it is easy to get stuck behind reasonably small cliffs or other things, even with the jump ability. While the ambiance is cool and the analog horror motif works, I'd have preferred the game leaned a little harder into that. Still, this is definitely a fun experience, even if it is a little short.
