Honestly, the BEST representation of Sonic games put into 3D. Better than any boost game or whatever Frontiers was. Though Adventure 1 is very close.

The spindash is fun & isn't as OP as in SA1.
Grinding is at its BEST in this game from being able to perform tricks off of rails, to the rail balance mechanic, to unique rail levels like Crazy Gadget or Final Rush.
The ranking system is also really fun & gives off a Tony Hawk/Jet Set Radio vibe when going for score.
The Chao Garden is simply amazing from the minigames, to raising chao stats, to playing with their evolution & breeding them. It's almost like Pokemon before it got really big.
OST is amazing & is some of the best in the franchise from Rouge's jazz tracks like "I'm A Spy" , to Knuckles "A Ghost Pumpkin Soup" , to Shadow's "Supporting Me"

My only nitpicks are that some of Tails & Rouges levels aren't that fun.

People weren't wrong, my guy Eggman really pulled down his pants and aimed his woodpecker at the moon and sizzled all over it.
