This game is a masterpiece stained with grape juice. Every Sonic and Shadow level is S tier. The mech levels grew on me so Eggman will get B tier while Tails will get a well deserved C tier at best. The Knuckles and Rouge levels ? HARD F tier. I hated them and they REALLY ruin the pace of everything. Also note i beat this entire game raw and no rubber,no mods,settings changes,NOTHING. But other than that...
The music is p e r f e c t i o n. Every single track,without fail,will get you pumped. Every scene,somber or ball busting fast has the perfect track along side it.
The story? For a platformer and also one about a sassy brat blue hedgehog,is surprisingly beautiful and really well done. I was shocked at the dialouge,cutscenes,pacing,and overall quality.
This game is most assuredly worth it. A timeless classic in every sense of the word. It also makes you think the development team is sadistic because this ♥♥♥♥ was made for a younger audience. Apparently Dreamcast and Gamecube kids were built DIFFERENT.
Regardless,this game is stunning and so stylish,truly a worthy celebration of the history and impact that Sonic The Hedgehog has made,not only on gaming culture,but on all of us.
