A solid 9/10 experience that the devs could easily charge for, instead of just having it as an optional payment.

Story is well put together, writing is great, and the use of the Cthulhu mythos has been done with love and care (and also with a good chunk of artistic licence)

This is a very original take on the Cthulhu Mythos. Unlike many horror stories, this one is more focused on the character of the "monsters" rather than the things that make them monstrous. Unlike the Old Gods in Lovecraft's stories, the Old Gods here are very human. This probably isn't really for hardcore Lovecraft fans, but in my opinion, it's more complex and interesting than that.

The interactive fiction parts work well. The entire game is dialogue, but there the choices in the conversation are compelling. And you have a lot of control over the ending as you choose which of the Old Gods will rule the world. Great premise!

The visuals in this game are really great and work hard to capture the feel of the '90s. This is a virtuosic use of the Ren'Py game engine.
