This one is okay, but maybe wait for a sale. Trilogy of the Moon is set in the same universe as Eternal Rebirth –Curses of Love- which is available on Epic Game Store. In that game, you were the reincarnation of a King from 1000 years ago who owned 999 concubines, and you had to grant the wishes of some who had been reincarnated. In this game, three concubines time travel from 1000 years ago into the modern day. Unfortunately they must go back soon, or they’ll cease to exist. All you do is hang around and help them navigate the modern day before they leave.

Since all three admirers are fish out of water, there is more natural humor than in Eternal Rebirth. While this helps the experience, the game does not leverage it enough. The three admirers aren’t deep or interesting, and none of them are standouts in the genre. It is just a typical setup where they like you from the start and you occasionally pick one of three to get close and earn affection. Incidentally, affection is cumulative, so you must explore many branches to unlock the endings.

The main setting is a large house that was also used in Come on Fantasy Baby! (Epic Store). This game seems to be made in conjunction with Maxim Korea, which is why the admirers are photoshoot models. And that’s probably why the story is fairly basic, succinct and short, taking 1.6 hours first run and 3.3 hours to see everything. While cleavage shots are common, this game is not as lewd as Eternal Rebirth or Come on Fantasy Baby. However, Come on Fantasy Baby is a slightly better game, and My Love with the Girls Group (EGS) is still the best Korean game of this type in my opinion.

This is a good game if you prioritize fanservice, but not if you prioritize story. In terms of story, the pace of the story is very fast so that the character depth of each heroine is very lacking. Because of that, the gameplay is also very fast which I honestly think is not worth the price. Play it if you're just looking for "FUN".

Trilogy of the Moon is a South Korean FMV game, with a dating sim style.

It has interesting characters, famous photo shoot models and a short but satisfying story that makes the FMV engaging and fun to play, a truly casual experience where the player can just have a good time learning about the lovely ladies, and working on increasing their affinity via carefully selected dialogue options, which increases their admiration of you, while progressing the story.

My Opinion: I thought Trilogy of the Moon was presented well and I personally really enjoyed the 3 ladies very well, their personalities were unique from one another and I had a great time watching them act their roles as the characters.
This games story line is connected to another FMV, known as Eternal Rebirth -Curses of Love-, which I haven't yet played, which is actually part 1 to this game, which contains South Korean Maxim Magazine photo shoot models as well.
Overall I really enjoyed the game and really would recommend it to anyone looking for a casual laid back experience with beautiful women as its centre focus.
I believe the team did a fantastic job and would love to see future FMVs by them featuring similar characters, as the filming style and quality of the production was excellent.
Acting was spot on and I had a good laugh several times during the story with several funny moments.

Improvements for future SKYPLUS FMV Games/Sequels:

Expanded story: As a writer myself, story telling is one of the most important elements of a good game, and can really draw an audience when written well, especially romantic stories.
Although most FMV are more casual, funny and sexy in the moments of their storytelling, perhaps an extended and even more in depth story, with more characters, possible villains & conflicts to the main character, could make the story more interesting and a longer game.

More locations: South Korea has many interesting landmarks, historical areas and local culture, which work perfectly for dating simulators/FMV style games, especially with all the amazing available South Korean dramas to watch right now.
I even travelled and lived in Seoul for a while, its amazing with lots of places to see and potential for FMV scenes. (Purchased SK Maxim magazines too lol)
I would definitely like to see more locations utilised, which could be used as bonding moments with the women, fun activities such as mini games, or dating/intimate scenarios which tie into the locations, businesses or external characters in the scenes.

Mini games: Some FMVs have small mini-games such as boxing/exercises/fun & intimate activities with a possible love interest, QTE enemy fights, or fun reaction events which could also improve the experience and engage the player more. Balance is key to getting it just right.

More Endings: Trilogy of the Moon has Multiple endings, but having more endings never hurts.
This could include good, neutral, bad, funny/silly, perfect endings make the game have more reply value, which in turn promotes more players to make content for the game and share it with friends and others.

More Achievements/Collectables: A fun layer to the game can be to have more achievements and collectables which have to be unlocked via certain conditions, hidden routes, or specific dialogue choices, which extend the life of the game and can help us pursue other routes and uncover secrets for special endings. Or just admire special collectable photos/videos and/or behind the scenes are always fun additions to extend game length.

Conclusion: Excellent FMV 9/10, I would recommend Trilogy of the Moon to anyone looking to play an FMV for a first time or for a those looking for a fun new FMV to play.
Featuring beautiful, well acted and interesting photoshoot ladies, a great MC, well made game with potential to set up future sequels, more characters and additional story.
Its definitely a game I'll be playing for a while, as I absolutely have fallen in love with all the recent influx of FMV games, and am always excited for future releases of these style of games, as someone who enjoys writing romantic stories, I just love dating FMV games.
I really think they are a great alternative to watching an actual drama and enjoy how it lets the player have multiple choices and characters to pick from when progressing the story, all with different personalities and traits.
