A nice blend of management sim and visual novel. The story wasn't anything special but it was in no way bad either. It's in the game play that Idol Manager really shines though. The story objectives were always putting little twists on the difficulty of the game and I had to constantly adjust the types of music and choreo style that I was releasing. Because of this the game play loop managed to feel pretty fresh every chapter and I wasn't ever able to run away with the game completely. An easy recommendation for anyone that enjoys management sim type games.

Challenging, fun, and well pretty difficult to figure out how to get an idol group to profitability. It's a ton of fun, and challenge to keep me on the game and watching everything. There's a lot of metrics but also a lot of guesses, although I do find the tutorial a bit too long perhaps or story mode to be uh pretty boring.

Really fun, just remember

A) It is very hard and you will probably go bankrupt your first few playthroughs
B) If you are a completionist, you'll have to pick between completing the game and getting the achivement where you date and marry one of your idols. Who works for you. And might be underage. So keep that in mind if you know you're the type who has to do everything.
