everytime i try start a new game, when the plane is falling down and the screen turns black, it get freezed in the black screen and then crash the game. Any suggestion how to fix it?

Just finished my first run and I did not expect the game to go in the direction that it did. Must admit I am pleasantly surprised, this game was different but it certainly kept my attention throughout. Considering I recently completed Call of Cthulhu this game in my opinion is more Lovecraft than the latter.
