To buy or not to buy, that is the question

And the answer is to be found in a series of reviews that I will be producing in the coming months.

My reviews will come in two formats, and I will explain those formats now. I feel like it is unfair to review a $10 game in the same way I would review a $60 game. The main reason why is because a $10 game will likely lack the longevity and polish that a $60 game is expected to have. And even then, that statement, in and of itself, isn't necessarily quite so black and white. Regardless, certain expectations are present between the two ends of the scale.

So, with cheaper games, I will, for the most part do quite small reviews for, just covering my thoughts and feelings about the game and summarising them with my opinion on its value for money. With premium priced AAA games, I will take a much more in depth look at them, still providing my thoughts and feelings on them, but treating them and dissecting them like the big budget productions they typically are.

For full disclosure, I will state whether I obtained a game for free or bought it with my own money. Regardless how it was obtained, I will always exhibit the integrity to judge the game on its own merit at all times, and without bias.
