Harder Than Normal Ark Server

HTNAS is a tribe free ARK server perfect for solo player. We run a low pop server, with limited slots we feel there is no need for tribes.

We have safezones* for beginners to learn to play and all newcomers will be given a starting dino and supplies. The HTNAS community will help out where we can, whether it be with taming, exploring or building.

Levelling is slower than 'vanilla'. More points are required to advance from one level to the next. This allows players to experience the lower tiers in the game in depth before advancement.

Modified predator damage buffs in HTNAS provide a bit more of a challenge compared to 'vanilla' servers. Once a Dino is tame its stats return to default (wild dinos will always out rank their tamed counterparts)

*Safezones are just that, safe. There is to be no PVP in safezones and all Dinos must be on passive before entering a safezone. If you wish to challenge someone there are dedicated arenas for battles.

HUD and Crosshairs are dissabled.

Harder than normal is back

Hey everyone, it's been awhile.

With ark coming up for release I decided to turn the server back on. Atm it is the same settings but on the new ragnarok map.

The server is hosted off of my good computer so there shouldnt be any problems with hardware but my net still isn't the best, do I can't make it more than 10 Max players and that is still pushing it.

We are moving house soon and once that is sorted I will have better internet and also have the server computer going.

With the server computer going I will turn on the original harder than normal server with the towns and link the 2 servers together for the new ark transfer. With that you will be able to move freely between the 2 maps.

The server is called

Harder than normal

And has the same password as before.
