Match-3 Fandom <3

In itself is pretty simple mechanic, but fortunately we moved on to addinng meta layer on top of the core gameplay. Thus enriching the story the game wants to tell or the gaming experience.

This group is dedicated to games that use Match-3 mechanic as their core gameplay while enriching it with said meta layer. We either take a look on games that are a powerful dopamine rush, wholesome or shaken you with a great story. They can come in many forms! RPGs, Rougelikes, heavy story-driven games or dating sims!

• Swapping - most common type, works by swapping two board pieces to get 3 or more pieces of the same color lined up.
E.g. Candy Crush;

• Linking - rare type, here you link/connect board pieces by drawing a line to make a match.
E.g. Wizard Dungeon;

• Sliding - most likely the least popular type, you slide a whole row, be it horizontaly, or verticaly, to make a match.
E.g. You Must Build A Boat.
