Fate best girl!

Saber Alter is a Saber class Servant of Mato Sakura in the Fifth Holy Grail War in Fate/stay night in the Heaven's Feel branch. She is a modified version of Saber after being absorbed by the dirt from the Shadow and fell into darkness. She is one of the Main Character's Servants in the GrandOrder conflicts in Fate/Grand Order.


The personality of Saber Alter changes significantly after the damage from Angra Mainyu, but it cannot be called fully evil. She is rather a dark heroine who still remains an idealist, clinging to her principles even after the fall.[4] After absorbing the curse with hatred, she realizes that the hero is obliged to hate and condemn, that the hero's only duty is to use all his powers to destroy enemies. She believes that she was ready for such an outcome after gaining Caliburn, and decides to entrust her blade to the Evil of the Whole World. Although she still takes her duty as king seriously, believing that it is her duty to those who lost their lives because of her, she no longer believes in her ideals and her people. The end of faith was put long ago, after her prayers and glory disappeared on the hill at Camlann.

Basically, she is emotionless towards Shiro, Rin and Sakura. Although she seems to still be sympathetic to Shiro and Rin, who emerged victorious, she is extremely apathetic to any situation. If the battle went wrong, she no longer cares about the winner, and she can only feel a little sorry for those who survived. She feels connected to Sakura as someone who feels similar despair.

She fights against Shiro without much trouble, as they both have no particular desire to fight each other. She only follows Sakura's orders clearly, so she will only attack when she is ordered to. She gets angry if Shiro doesn't give his all in a fight with her, even to the point of asking him what is all she means to him. She is pleased with his victory over her at the end of Sparks Liner High, even calls on him to kill her before she recovers, but quickly returns to her apathetic state after seeing how the result of their fight affected him. She simply declares that this is her victory, and compares him with all her other enemies who, risking their lives, died senselessly.
