Planned 06-April Wipe cycle

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the feedback that was given and the guidance by the server patrons who helped contribute to the server! You know who you are :)

On the 6th of April, the server shall return to PvE mode. And it shall stay there. I noticed a few people seemed surprised about the PvP purge event. The goal here was to have some old fashioned fun. Whilst two people on the server has been running around raiding, everyone else has taken a break. I noticed a distinct drop in participation in the server.

Starting on the 6th, the server shall never exit PvE mode again. I realise that PvP should be separate events at most. Not the whole server being plunged into the dark ages. So here is what I am planning for Salty Bears PVE:

Proper PvP event setup from CHAOS code (DONE)
Slightly smaller map size (Map size still 4500)
Cars - IF small impact on server performance (DONE)
Custom Chinook event loot tables
Elevators plugin (Close to being released)
Building upkeep at 50% of vanilla rates
Decay for items outside building privilege zone (DONE)
Further tweaking to game economy and questing

This list is only planned and may expand at any time!

That is it from me! Please bare with me as I explore what works for you guys and what does not. There was some optimism about the wipe, however I appreciate that this is not the way to go! I apologise for the massive inconvenice...

Server Update - March 23

Hi guys,

Server update is late due to Facepunch releasing the client version FIRST before the server update.

Both Oxide and the server update should happen soonish. I might have to do this from work!

Please be patient, I shall attend to this ASAP and keeping an eye out for any updates!
