Well, that was a toughie. I'm disappointed. I'm sure you are too. I know that we were a better team than them.

I think the biggest problem for us that game was not continuing a push when we should have. That one game that we won, we steamrolled right through and it was awesome. For most cp maps in TF2, when mid gets capped, it's almost a given that the second point will be capped uncontested as the defensive team has to fall back to last. When they capped mid, they pushed right away into the next point and I don't think we could effectively stop them. We threw ourselves at them a little, then didn't have anyone available to stop them at last. For the future, it'll be important to recognize what our numbers are (which is a good reason why we should be hitting tab frequently) and see how quickly they're pushing the next point. Something to be learned for next time around.

So yeah, it was sad ending to the season, but I don't think any of us have anything to be ashamed of. We played a great season. Every single person on the team improved greatly. I truely mean that. If present DTT could face off against past DTT, we'd kill 'em! :)
That mid-season surge we had was incredible. I'm really proud of that and you all should be as well. A couple of roster changes gave us a little inconsistency late in the season, which definitely hindered us, but it was unavoidable. It's hard to keep together a team of 9 people every week for so long. Thanks to all of those that stepped in for us.

This is not the end of DTT though. I think we'll probably take a break for a little, do some decompressing, then find another highlander tourny and enter in full force.
