KYAOOO! Gaming is a video game blog for gamers, by gamers. We’ve got your standard product reviews (both video games and the hardware used with them–we’re talking video cards, power supplies, headsets, and all that nonsense), news on the industry from speculations to rants to previews, and catalogs for cheap games (we’re looking at you, Steam).

Sure, video games might seem childish and silly to some but to us, gaming is a lifestyle; it’s a culture, a community of people who choose to live countless lives as dragonslayers, wizards, cyborgs, soldiers, business tycoons, or even God. With all the chaos in our lives, people resort to the safety of their imaginations. In generations past, people would read books or go to the cinema in order to escape reality but in the 21st Century, our brains thirst for a certain kind of stimulation only games can provide (though reading and movies are fine options too, of course).

KYAOOO is meant to be a platform for the underdog, a supporter of smaller independent developers whose passion and efforts are eclipsed by the financial success and scope of giant publishers. Video games aren’t just products, but in some cases, works of art, messages and critiques on society and how we, as humans interact, and, overall, manifestations of the worlds we inhabit inside our heads. Gamers are weird and so, we want to speak your language–to give you what it is you’re looking for, even if it’s a new indie game on sale, new friends to pwn n00bs with, or pointers on how to upgrade your PC.

Admittedly, we’re a work in progress and KYAOOO is constantly evolving but no matter what form we take, we’ll always be right next to you in the trenches and calling out targets.
