Au Québec, nos statistiques sont alarmantes. Chaque jour, trois personnes s’enlèvent la vie. Malgré tous les outils mis en places, les gens continuent de souffrir en silence. Nous connaissons tous quelqu’un de près ou de loin qui nous a quitté beaucoup trop tôt. C’est la perte d’un ami qui nous a donné l’idée de créer un événement pour ramasser des fonds pour l’Association Québécoise de Prévention du Suicide. Étant donné que c’était un joueur de jeux vidéo, nous lui rendons hommage en créant le DreamLan.


Everyday in the province of Quebec, three people voluntarily end their life. This statistic is too high. With your help, we can reduce this number. We present you Dreamlan, an event that will aim to raise funds for the Quebec Association for Suicide Prevention.
A lan is an event attended by video game players across the province. Whether on a computer or a console, players gather, meet, compete and most importantly, have fun. Why did we choose this type of event to help the AQPS? In August 2013, a very popular player took his life. In light of this event, we noticed that the virtual community doesn't know how to ask for help in times of distress. Through this event, we wish to tell them that there are resources ready to help them get through the darkness.
However, the organization of such an event is expensive. That is why we need you. All profits registered during the event will be donated to the AQPS. Every organizer of the Dreamlan is a volunteer.
