I am trying Steam announcements for the Group to see if they're less annoying than Steam Events. I'll still use Steam Events for special broadcast events like MOBA Monday, giveaway days and other show events.

We are bringing the MCast Steam Group on as a regular part of the broadcast starting today.
**OUR NEW / CONSISTENT BROADCAST TIMES ARE: 2:00PM PST / 5:00PM EST / 22:00 GMT EVERY DAY**
First off, if you don't want notifications / events / announcements, here's how to DISABLE ALL NOTIFICATIONS from this group:
1) Steam (Top Right)
2) Settings
3) Friends
4) "View My Steam Community Profile"
5) "Friend Activity Settings" (Small Letters on the Upper Right)
6) Uncheck "Schedules an event?" and/or "Posts an Announcement" under "A Group I Belong to:"
I will post a daily event when the Stream starts and/or announce what we are doing each day. In additon, I will be selecting "Players of the Week" a feature here where one person in the Steam group gets selected for a custom chat message on Twitch and a special mention in the Steam group. Players of the Week will be selected for the most awesome chat contributor on Twitch every Friday. In the future this person will probably be eligible for unique rewards, too.
I am going to be scheduling a lot of new events through this Steam group and also doing giveaways specifically for people in this Steam group (no joke.) I want there to be a lot of benefits to being in this group, so stay tuned.
