A retelling of the Curtis x Kate love poetry

In memory of the most precious DBD survivor ever.

Curtis was a console player, and therefore our friendship was forbidden and difficult to grasp. He added me after a game him and I played, and I was confused, never before had I imagined that console and PC could create some kind of link. He then invited me, and I cautiously joined. Soon I noticed a spark, there was something about him that made him special. I could talk to him, but the best response I could ever get was spammed ready-up. Never did I expect it to be so sudden, but this was all I needed to fall in love.

He mostly played Kate, which in itself doesn't mean a lot. But I main Kate, so this felt like a connection between him and I - a common ground. He played her so differently than I did, he was so much more daring.

I did everything I could to keep Curtis alive, I even died many times myself - even if I was in the clear running through the exit gate, I would turn back. Curtis was a loving person, he too would always run back in to save an ally. However, he was naive to the fact that everything I did was to save him. I never wanted him to return the favour, for being in his presence was a cause worth dying for, again and again.

I miss you Curtis, bby.
I always lay in wait, hoping for you to come back online.
