About The Game

Need For Speed World was the fifteenth installment of the long-running racing video game franchise: Need for Speed. it was published by Electronic Arts, co-developed by EA Black Box. It was the first freemium MMORG in the Need for Speed series available on Windows. The Game took on the gameplay of NFS: Most Wanted and NFS Carbon, focusing on illegal street racing, tuning cars and police chases, and added MMO elements to the mix. The Game was set in the Tri-City Map, which was a mixture of the cities of Rockport and Palmont (Cities from Most Wanted and Carbon). The game featured over 100 licensed cars consisting of tuners, muscle cars, exotics, race cars and SUVs.

About the Project

SoapBox Race World is a server project for a racing game. It was shut down as well the other "free to play" Electronic Arts Games titles. Because of the lost of the game, users of elitepvpers forum "berkay2578" & "Nilzao" managed to make an Offline (singleplayer) server. With the help of community, they started working on a multiplayer server prototype, to be able to make an Online server for other players in the future.

Hey, I played need for speed world since the beginning and I was wondering if I could buy the soapbox company. I have plans of creating a metaverse with the game and players to be able to actually trade cars and rent them out in the metaverse. This would make need for speed world be able to be so open with other racing games. It could literally make it GTA where you own homes and cars at the same time.
