Still Going Strong

**THIS IS A STRICT NO CHEATER ZONE**

TF2 is a very old game. Regardless, it is still one of Steam's most played and most well-known.

Many say TF2 is dead. I say no. The game is still being patched and updated, many people still play and trade, and many still enjoy the game. It is far from being dead.
It is the 4th most played game on steam and has a steady amount of players still playing the game. Yeah, totally dead.

Members of this group still play TF2 and have faith in the game. Besides, the pyro and heavy updates are soon to come.

If you pay close attention, you'll notice that every single update, regardless of quality rattles the community. Stay open, guys. Its not the end of the world.

And I stopped caring about TF2 vs. Overwatch after Paladins came out. They're all FPS games, and they are similar. Complaining and arguing does nothing good for either side. Just look at Muselk, his channel has become a complete war zone.

After some thought, I decided I want to leave this group. However, I want to make it clear that I am NOT quitting TF2, nor am I losing faith in the game.

Think of this group as a sub-division of the game, and the group members a sub-division of the overall community. Compare me to a TF2 youtuber quitting the game. Once I leave, does the community fall apart? Maybe, but it settles down in the end and things move on as they were. Those who still enjoy the game play the game, and those who don't move on.

I wish that all of you who still like TF2 to support the game if possible. The only reason TF2 has survived so long is because of the supportive community. TF2 will only survive if the community supports the game. Similarly, this group will survive only if the group members are supportive of it.

I can see that some of you will be upset, some a little sad, some understanding, and some who don't really care. That's fine. I just want you guys to do what you were already doing.

Regardless of everything, nothing is forever. Change is bound to happen. With this said, goodbye. I'm proud of all of you for supporting such an old game.

Over the course of the next few days, and as a means to get things a little more active, I will post discussions regarding the pyro update, weapon balances/opinions, and other various TF2 topics.

it's a nice place to look back and fawn over the simpler times where I could come back from school and play tf2 with my friends for hours and hours, with none of the stress or responsibilities of the world. Those days are long gone, but they'll always remind me that that level of joy, and that potential to live in spite of what lies ahead of you, will always be possible, so don't lose sight of it yet.

So one last time, thank you all for the memories, and I hope that this place serves some importance to you as well <3

it's me RobbleRex. It's been a lot of years- and i'm sure a majority of you werent around when this place died for the final time, but even still thanks for the ego boost of seeing this place with 1000+ members :p

I remember running up to my dad and yelling to him about how cool it was I owned a TF2 steam group and honestly i can't even be embarassed about it. I loved this group with my whole heart and even though it died not long after, and I *may* have overhyped it in my announcements, it was a really fond piece of history for me.

I also remember being super hype about Sir Stanger being in this group, so thanks to him :p

Recent update, Tyler Mcvicker mentioned something that valve is working on something with TF2 and he seem enthusiastic about it too... What could it mean?
